Our defense is clearly the strength of this team.   Giving them the ball first sends a strong message to our defense.

Actually, that's incorrect. The odds of winning a coin toss are 50-50 no matter how many you won (or lost) previously.

Just had to be a pedant and point that out.

Great question though. Sure had me guessing.

Great question though. Sure had me guessing.

While that is correct, the odds of winning four in a row are not 50/50 for all four events to occur. However, the odds of the next one will ALWAYS be 50/50.

The odds of 4 in a row is 1/16 the odds of the next one following 3 in a row would be 1/2. Next would be 1/32 and 1/2 respectively.
