I don't recall us doing this last season. Not for football. TECO did do this for two of the USF WBB's games when we hosted the two NCAA tournament games at the Sun Dome. Considering TECO has been sold to a Canadian corporation now, and USF grad John Ramil won't technically be "the person" in charge, this must have been in the works pre-acquisition. If not, pretty neat that a Canadian corporation would allow TECO to continue "its goodwill" with USF.

John retired from TECO last month, but he is now on the Emera (the Canadian corporation) Board of Directors, so perhaps he can still influence some decisions here in Tampa. Also, the current president of Tampa Electric (now a subsidiary of Emera), Gordon Gillette is a USF grad and has been a supporter of HCPS - he is currently on the Board of Directors of the Hillsborough Education Foundation. So with that, hopefully this generosity continues even with a Canadian parent.

The more we can get to come to the games the better, especially with the high quality/entertaining product we are putting on the field.

I wasn't clear on how the corporations and the players involved were going to be set up after Emera's purchase of TECO.
