There was some discussion on the board whether Darnell Salomon should redshirt due to the depth at WR. During the last touchdown pass to Mitchel Wilcox I noticed Salomon came over to celebrate. Does that mean he is no longer able to redshirt this year?

Yeah I noticed he was on the field that last drive. They actually had him in the slot which was rather surprising

I'm pretty sure you can still redshirt if you play less than like 25% of the downs at the beginning of the season, but I could be wrong

Something like that. I know you can't play in the second half of the season, even a single play.

That does not mean he will not be redshirted.

All they have to do is say he pulled a hammy and they played it safe.

I believe BJ did that his first year.

Exactly. He played a few downs that first year and then was "injured" for the remainder of the season.
