Kick Times Set For Five USF Games In 2016

Bulls set for four night games, the first two at home

2016 SCHEDULE

TAMPA, JUNE 15, 2016  – Kickoff times for the USF football team’s first three games of the 2016 season and five overall have been set, as the American Athletic Conference unveiled league-wide kick times through the first three weeks of the 2016 season on Wednesday.

USF’s 2016 season opener vs. Towson, Saturday, Sept. 3 at Raymond James Stadium, will kickoff at 7 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN3. The following week’s Saturday, Sept. 10 contest vs. Northern Illinois in Raymond James Stadium will also kickoff at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN).

USF’s first road game of the 2016 season, Saturday, Sept. 17 at Syracuse, was previously announced as a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN3.

USF’s Friday night contests on Oct. 21 at Temple and Oct. 28 vs. Navy in Raymond James Stadium have also been set for 7 p.m. kickoffs on ESPN networks.  The Temple game will air on ESPN, while the Navy game will air on ESPN2. Four of the Bulls’ five announced kickoff times for 2016 are night games.

The Bulls’ seven remaining regular season games, including home contests vs. Florida State (Sept. 24), ECU (Oct. 8), UConn (Oct. 15) and UCF (Nov. 26), are expected to have kickoff times announced 12 days in advance of the game via the television network’s 12-day selection process. That process will begin the second week of the season.

The American Athletic Conference Championship Game, played at the home site of a conference team, has once again been set for a noon kickoff and will be televised by ABC or ESPN.

Season tickets and three-game flex plans for the USF’s seven-game 2016 home slate are available by calling 1-800-GoBulls or visiting USFBullsTix.com.

If we go 3-0 with convincing wins... Are we ranked?

I dunno, but we better not underestimate NIU. They're a better team than the one we played in the International Bowl years ago.

Please crush Towson too...and doing it with the second string would be a nice bonus.

The Bold changes I found on the ESPN web site. I'm sure that FSU game will change to either ESPN2 or ESPN depending on FSU's ranking at the time of the game.

Yes. We seem to be getting a lot of publicity all of a sudden. I know people may say it's because we did well last year, so did Western Kentucky, Bowling Green and Toledo. SDSU did pretty well too and here we are with all this publicity. It's no mistake, it's intentional.

It took teams from the American awhile to crack the top 25, but if the first three games are convincing wins and #20-25 faulter during that stretch it's possible. The AAC probably has better perception this year. Also, don't shoot down the idea that we wind up ranked to pad FSU's SOS

I just want to win, gain confidence, and continue improving as a team. NIU is no team to scoff at; they are very well coached. @ Syracuse with a new scheme could jump out and surprise us. Heck even Towson has an Oregon transfer at QB. This year I'm looking forward to how CWT and staff deal with the target on their backs and playing the chess match that is in-game coaching. How much does scheming win or lose games this year will determine how well we do.
