I can only go by what others are saying but if Flowers has and continues to progress as a passer this offense is going to cause some big problems for other teams.

Echoing the article, I'm excited about the offense but a little antsy about the defense. A poised QF is going to be scary for other teams to manage.

I like Woodie and all, and some people just don't have a good presence in front of a camera, but so far his interviews make me feel like he's struggling with the new role.

It's hard to judge whether the O is that good or the D is not up to snuff from spring games. My recollection in general is that D's are usually ahead of O's historically at USF.

My guess is that the D will have some growing pains this year.

The D was spread out to both teams. Also, the offense has a lot of new looks (taken from Baylor). I think when all of the defensive personnel are together they will be fine. They don't have to be great this year either as our offense is going to put up a ton of points in almost every game.

We have QF and then, from where I sat, 3 back-ups. I thought all QB's did some good things. Somebody else said it, "We now have the depth to compete at several positions."

I do have one suggestion going forward in spring games, let the QB's where the flags like the alumni. It would be slightly better than tapping them on the shoulder and getting credit for a sack.

Only 138 days til kick-off!

WKU was a legit top 25 team last year and was up on us 3 points in the 4th quarter with us having the ball on their side of the field.  We missed a FG to tie it, and then the scored a late TD and went up 10.

Not sure that classifies as "handling us pretty good".

Never get less than 12 hours of sleep, never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city, never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body, and never try and rationalize with smazza.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
