IMO, If both USF and SDSU run the table, we'll outrank them. 

Sure, they had a good early SOS, but their conference is weaker than the AAC. 

Sure, we had a weak early SOS, but as the years progress the level of competition will significantly improve. We could be facing up to 2/3 ranked teams leading to the championship. 

Memphis, SMU, UCF and potentially Navy are all top 40 schools when the year is all said and done. Can't say that about SDSU's conference. 

That #2 point is certainly tweet-worthy.

After reading this.... I feel a lot better about the season now.

Overall, I'll accept the small regression on offense with the significant improvement in defense.

USF is still ranked, and I saw that there are 4 aac teams that are "RV" status, meaning they are getting top 25 votes.

They also give you a free 30 day trial which I will promptly cancel as mostly all of our remaining games are already scheduled to be on ESPN so I'll just tream WatchESPN. Only games that I need to worry about are ECU and Tulane since I'll be at the home games and the UCF game.

What I like about his interview is that he had the same mentality since high school. Bigger named high school programs (Miami Central and Northwestern) wanted QF to transfer to their school, but he stayed at Miami Jackson and took them to places they've never seen before.

He had bigger offers, but he wanted to leave a legacy. That's special! And he'll be leaving USF as the best QB in the school's history. Kudos to that.

D'Ernest wasn't mentioned, but it's probably because everybody already knows he is worthy of high 1st round pick. The article is probably avoiding stating the obvious.  

He's projected as a 2nd rounder and the highest rated AAC prospect.
