All I see is a "turd" hat. Searched South Florida, no hats.

That's because it has not been designed yet, which is why I am inquiring on who would be interested in getting one.

I think a "Tampa Bay" version might be kind of cool but a little reticent to fully commit until I see a final design ..... which may be difficult without the 50?

I will reach out to him to see if he can provide a sketch of the USF version. I've reached out the guys at the Daily Stampede to see who would be interested as well.

  2. Hola all,

I recently came across an Etsy shop that is selling a University hat series that caught my eye, so I reached out to the owner to inquire about getting a USF version. In order to get a USF version, he would need a qty of ~50 in order to place an order. Wanted to reach out to TBP to see if anyone would be interested. Below is the UF version that he is currently selling. Let me know if you are interested!

Don’t do this to yourself. Saturday was a great push in the right direction that we all needed. This team will struggle to win 2 more. We’re not beating Houston. If UCF has Gabriel that’s a tough go too. I do think Tulane and ECU are very winnable if we play like we did Saturday and against BYU.

I did say that the outlook was if we played like we did on Saturday for the remainder of the season. That is the issue with USF this year, you don't which team is going to show up and for how long. NCSt dud, UF dud in the 1st and solid in the 2nd, FAMU solid in the 1st dud in the 2nd, BYU solid all but the 1st qtr, SMU solid all but the 4th qtr, Tulsa same as SMU, and Temple solid minus the opening drive of the 2nd half. If we go back inconsistent play to like we did in the 1st half of the season, we will finish 2-10.

  4. Even though it was a poor Temple team, I liked what I saw on both sides of the ball. If USF continues to play like they did this past weekend, I think 5 or 6 wins is possible. My outlook is 5-7  on the season, with remaining wins being: ECU, Tulane,  & C. Houston is the last possible win given how they played against ECU.

Nathan was asked about the OCS on a FAMU podcast and said USF wants butts in seats at the new stadium for the 2025/2026 season. Also mentioned they want it at the current site of the track stadium.

He's way more plugged in at USF than I am so I'm not gonna call BS on those dates, but if true that shows some serious commitment. I've thought of 2025 as absolute best case.

I'm interested to see how this would render out. You would think that any FL school should have stadiums in the N/S orientation due to the sun, but with the track location it almost forces you to have the E/W orientation. Location overall, it makes sense. They want to be able to tie in the Football Center into the OCS, and the best way to do that is to have it as close to the current practice facilities. Like I said on a previous thread, is how they tie in the newly renovated Football locker rooms at LRS to the Football Center/OCS. In order to do that, you would have to have the Football Center attaching to the LRS, and that would sit right on top of the Soccer training grounds. (My interpretation of the layout below)

Regardless, this is all still speculation and it is a fun problem to talk about. But like others, I will believe it when they open up a donation fund and release some real renders with groundbreaking dates.
