  1. Depends... the genuine interest in the game can come from the diehard fans or the donuts but it's increased interest either way. Were the diehards extending the right hand of fellowship when we were at our worst? And would the donuts have accepted the invitation when we were at our worst? I  think an increase in attendance today is indicative of an uptick in interest, whether that uptick comes from the hardcore fans being more interested and bringing more people out to the game or whether the uptick is from the donuts being more likely to come when invited because suddenly there is more interest. Either way, this game is an opportunity to win over some more genuine interest in our football team if we can get some newbies and donuts to show up!

  2. There is a lot going on this weekend, if you are a USF fan. I think I've got a plan down, maybe?

Friday, Mrs. S and I plan on staying through at least the 1st half of the WBB game, sliding over to Corbett for MSOC match with UConn (at least through regulation), then back to the Dome for the MBB game.

Saturday, If the WSOC match is at one (there seems to be some kind of time conflict between the NCAA Bracket and GoUSFBulls.com) we may try to make that game before heading to our tailgate for the football game.

Weather may decide everything for me, though.

We'll be there Saturday with the little lady! Looking forward to doing a good luck pickleback! Gonna have my pops with us this week too!

  3. We've been going to the LRS on Dale Mabry for all of the away games so far this season. We'll be there again tomorrow. Last game had a pretty decent turnout and they had some decent giveaways... we won tickets to the b-ball game Monday. They also gave away tickets to the game against Temple for football.

  4. I think we bounce back and get a good win on the road next week against ECU. I think we do it convincingly too. For the past few years we've had teams that would just let the losses start piling up once we lost the first. I know we lost three in a row early but two of those were against two really good football teams and I feel like the team is playing with a different mentality now. Like I said, I think this team bounces back and gets a big win on the road against a very beatable ECU team to build the confidence back up for a tough game at home against Temple.
