Awesome, welcome to Tampa. Any surprises or are these all guys previously committed?

Stacy Kirby was a surprise, I had heard talk he was pushing out to February. Very good player, former FSU commit, had his share of P5 offers including Miami apparently.

  2. It's disturbing. The players seem to be impatient and pressing too hard to make something happen rather than working and setting up plays. I get the impression that they aren't very mentally focused. Earlier in the season, they would work, set up shots and get to the basket. They didn't always convert, but I could live with that because the process was good. They're still doing some of that in the first half, but oftentimes it seems like they get frustrated when shots don't start falling right away. CBG's problem is that if he pulls them (particularly Jiggetts or Banks), he has no one to go to. It feels like they need to have a hot shooting night-they just don't believe they can score right now.

3-star DT Devin Leacock, a #USF commit, shuts down his recruitment and schedules official visit with @CoachStrong_USF's program.

Right now he's got 4 star athleticism, but he probably has 2 star technique. That's exactly the kind of kid we've recruited over the years. Mark my word this kid is going to blow up once he gets here.

That's the payout, but didn't UCF lose ≥ $1mil from Fiesta Bowl tickets because the individual school is responsible for their entire ticket allotment? Of course I don't know what the payout was back then.

They had to cross the country to get there. I suspect they'll do quite well in Atlanta, it's six hours by car and an hour by plane.

Sigh...two wins more and it would have been us...

FAU has a VERY good offense, and it's a game I doubt we'd would be up for, but you know FAU would be up for it. That could potentially be like our bowl game against WKU a couple years ago.

As far as Kiffin goes, I think there's zero chance he leaves FAU for us if Strong were to bolt. He's already said he plans to return to next year. Only a P5 job would tear him away. Would love to have him here though.

Lane Kiffin would have won the conference in year one. Like him, don't like him, man's foul but you better believe he would have pulled out all the stops to get to Atlanta.

  6. ESPN looks to be in quite a bit of trouble. If we're getting the 8-10M a year contract we want, it won't be from them. They way overpaid for too many rights.

That said declaring bankruptcy isn't likely unless they're faced with no other choice. Disney has other profitable areas that can help carry them until they can crack down on the overpayments.

He has 3 Grey Cup Championships, now. He spent 10 years with Montreal, where they won the cup in 2009 and 2010.

That game Sunday was in a driving snow storm.

As opposed to a flying snowstorm or a biking snowstorm?

Jokes aside SJ Green is probably the 3rd best USF alumni behind JPP and Kawika Mitchell.

Frost is as good as gone. Wonder if someone will buyout Strong. Norvell will probably be in the mix too.

I suspect he will end up at one of the weaker SEC schools. His talk this season tells me he isn't really interested in being here. Tennessee, at least on the surface, is probably too big a job for him (their stadium and facilities are actually among the best in the SEC). I think he ends up at Ole Miss.

If I'm reading things right, Boise closes out the season against Fresno State.  Regardless of who wins that game, they will meet again next week in the CCG.  Weird position to be in knowing you're playing the same team 2 weeks in a row.

    GO BULLS!

Reminds me of all the years Denver would win the final game of the regular season vs. the Colts, and then they'd come back next week and get destroyed by those very same Colts no longer resting their players.
