Anyone know why Corey Walker didn't play?

We'll know mid December . . .
Yup. His recruiting is worse than his coaching so far, which is pretty hard to believe.

if he cant recruit he is toast
i dont expect wins this year or next but if we cant out recruit the competition he will not last
Wins are overrated for a third year head coach...lol. 6 wins or more next season or he has to go.

Can't believe Fortin isn't better than Marsh.

Maybe just leave Marsh in Carolina.

Marsh is a one trick pony. He can throw the play action slant and that's it. You can't win with that.
-
McClain is 80%...he should be starting.

I could maybe understand if the women were playing a real opponent and not a Texas community college, but that is still a stretch.

I am expecting bowl game next season and a TITLE in 2023. Have high expectations with Coach Scott!
We need Scott to be the guy and I hope he gets us there. As of right now, he looks like a crappy version of Skip Holtz.

it worked out for all. Mike White developed himself into a NFL QB. Flowers although not a NFL QB became the best QB (or 2nd best to Grothe) in USF History.
I love Grothe, but QF is the best offensive player in USF history, not just QB.

We will have a good chance to get bowl eligible in 2023, which isn't a bad thing.

Mike White went to Western Kentucky. USF football was infinitely better without him playing instead of the QF.

Glad we use the technology on player's speed.
Coach mentioned we have 3 QB's we can win with.
IPF on schedule for Summer. No mention of OCS.
At this point we barely have one...not sure what planet he lives on. Optimism or insanity or both.
-
I would have zero confidence in getting a win if we have to play Marsh. He would get sacked a lot. You can't win games at USF without a running QB. Fortin, at least, brings some mobility.
-
He is better at what he does than anyone else on the team at what they do. He is the kind of kicker you want when your team is actually good.

Bowl eligibility will come down to the game on Oviedo...
You honestly think this team can win 4 out of the next 5, with us having 0% chance of beating Cincy?
-
This game is looking like it will be another loss unless the defense can get a few stops.
-
I hope he is still learning the position. Right at this point he is a very Nick Roberts-esque player.

That isn't true in all cases. Where did Mangham come from? Guys from Alabama, for example, that are 3rd string and don't want to ride the bench are probably better than some guys playing for us.
Mangham is 178th in the FBS in rushing. There are only 130 teams. That's how bad we are. He is a very poor man's Jordan Cronkite at this point. Maybe guys from Alabama will show up. I'm not gonna hold my breath though.

I still like the Scott hire. We really need to be able to see what he can do with upgraded talent of his own.
Where is this upgraded talent going to come from? The portal? The reason guys transfer is because they suck and can't play at their current school. The guys he has gotten from the portal are either injured or suck or both. He hasn't done squat from a recruiting standpoint.

Hopefully, we recruit Florida better than any of them. Boca's closer to Miami, but I've got to think we'd be more attractive than FAU as an institution. The others, I'm hoping wouldn't steal many recruits from us. Even just the Bay area and Lakeland produces some pretty good talent. Time to lock down the homegrown guys.
Taggart v. Scott is not a fair recruiting fight with an even playing field. That and Willie is a much better coach than Scott, which is just ridiculous to think about.

pretty sure he got fired with cause and just left over $10 million on the table.

Navy wants to be in the west for Texas recruiting. It's the same reason they're in there now despite being one of 2 teams in the north east corner of the AAC.
At this point, I don't know if that makes sense. So Memphis gets the shaft on travel because Navy wants to play in Texas a few times a year. They could play in Texas as few times a year playing in the east division too. I think full members would get preference at this point. Wichita would be in the west for everything else. They would have to move Tulane to the east for everything but football in that case though.
