  1. Unless something has changed, I thought you were only allowed 13 players on scholarship ... We have 14 on the roster. Either someone is not on scholly or I need to delete this thread.

I'm guessing the white guy sitting on the end of the bench is the one not on scholarship. Throwing that guess out there.

He wasn't on the roster when I counted. We now have 15 ....

    1 Musa Abdul-Aleem G 6-5 221 Jr. Atlanta, Ga. (Georgia Perimeter College) (W.D. Mohammed H.S.)

4 Corey Allen Jr. G 6-1 152 Jr. St. Louis, Mo. (Mt. San Antonio College) (Ritenour HS)

13 Jake Bodway G - Fr. Minneapolis, Minn. (Bloomington Jefferson HS)

0 Martino Brock G 6-5 205 Sr. Memphis, Tenn. (South Alabama) (Maine Central Institute)

24 Dre Clayton F 6-6 245 Fr. Orlando, Fla. (Maynard Evans HS)

11 Anthony Collins G 6-1 175 Jr. Houston, Texas (Westbury Christian School)

5 John Egbunu C 6-10 245 Fr. Bauchi, Nigeria (Ft. Walton Beach HS - Fla.)

21 Javontae Hawkins G 6-5 205 So. Flint, Mich. (Huntington Prep)

10 Josh Heath G 6-2 165 Fr. Tampa, Fla. (Tampa Prep)

3 Zach LeDay F 6-7 245 So. The Colony, Texas (The Colony)

15 Shemiye McLendon G 6-3 217 RJr. Vero Beach, Fla. (Hofstra) (IMG Academy)

35 Jordan Omogbehin C 7-3 315 RSo. Lagos, Nigeria (Atlantic Shores Christian Acad)

23 Chris Perry F/C 6-8 266 Fr. Bartow, Fla. (Bartow Senior HS)

2 Victor Rudd F 6-9 235 RSr. Los Angeles, Calif. (Arizona State) (Findlay Prep (Nev.))

30 Bo Zeigler G/F 6-6 198 Fr. Detroit, Mich. (Community HS)

Bodway and Shemiye are walk ons

How many commits do we get this year for BBall.. Only one senior and we now have three redshirts with clayton, zeigler, and collins possibly.. If we don't take anyone but Holston we still have a 3 man recruiting class basically... That's saying that Holston plays next year and I would say that is almost set in stone considering he's our only shooter... Is Musa a senior? If so that would make two.

Brock is a senior, too.  But for some reason, I thought we had one.  But I'm sure USF wouldn't offer, if we couldn't give it.

Heath is also looking at a JC player as well, so who knows how many others we see. remember scholarships have a way of working themselves out. We could still us another center/PF type.

Any JC post players you know about specifically?  We definately could use another one.

  3. That's nice... I could've sworn I watched the Stetson game on there last year...maybe because it was an away game??

I was told by USF Athletics that Coach Heath did not want the video on Bulls Vision for tonight's game. Incidentally, the next three games are all on ESPN3.
Not saying you are wrong, but is there some reason that a coach would request to NOT air a game? Seems odd to me. Only reason I can think of would be to not give an opponent tape but given the longer season, that seems like less of an issue for basketball than, say, football.
Probably didn't want them to see our new secret weapon, Mclendon ... Got here late do don't know if they tried before but haven't hit a 3 pointer yet ...

Yeah we can't hit anything other than a free throw

  4. How about biggest surprise as far as players go? I nominate Cedric Smith. He ended up starting and being a strong team leader after being "found" at Fork Union Military Academy when we were recruiting Artha Reeves.

My biggest surprise would probably be Anthony Collins. When we signed him, I would never have imagined him making such an impact right from the get go.

  5. Alright guys with basketball season right around the corner, let's talk USF bball.

    1) Name your all time starting five.

    Basketball Practice begin today!!!

    Joey Knight â€@TBTimes_Bulls

Looked like Bulls men installed a ton of stuff on Day 1 of practice. Heath: "I really like this group. They're tuned in

Naturally, @Coach_Heath excited about new big men. Since his arrival, 6-8 frosh Chris Perry has gone from 245-266 lbs and not lost a step

6-7 soph Zach LeDay, who played at 223 last year, now at 245, @Coach_Heath said.

Heath on frontcourt: "Their size alone and their athleticism is double where we were last year. So we're already better there."

We got killed underneath last year so the new guys fill huge positions of need. Its going to be on coach this year IMO, hes got the guys he needs. Two big OOC games at home this year, Ok State (Smart is gone) and Alabama. Conference schedule has changed somewhat but still very tough. The basement is not an option.

Smart is still there as well as Nash. It will be a very tough game!

  7. @J_Bone_4: @_Bivins4Six what up with Sterling bra?

@_Bivins4Six: Bruh left. Transferred to LA Tech @J_Bone_4

@J_Bone_4: @_Bivins4Six what make he leave? Plus he got to sit out a year

@_KRock88: @J_Bone_4 @_Bivins4Six eligible immediately as he is graduating this summer

    Translated for Bausfkid

Squire Bone: Good sir, how are you? I hope all is well. I write to you to inquire about our mutual friend, Sire Griffin.

Duke Bivins: Our good friend Sterling is no longer with us for he has transferred to Louisiana Technical University.

Squire Bone: Good heavens! Oh lamentable day. If it is not too bold to ask, what occurred that would cause such a decision? He indubitably does not want to find himself subject to rules regarding intra-division transfers, does he? He assuredly would have to forgo a season of playing handegg!

Page KRock: Lords Bone and Bivins, Sire Griffin would not have to forgo a season of play as he will be graduating this summer; he will be immediately available for Louisiana Technical University, pip pip.

Duke Bivins: Squire Bone, Sire Griffin expressed that the coaching staff was his reason for making the decision.

    Haha this made my day
