And being sober that is.... I am optimistic about the rest of the year.

1.) defense got good pressure against a great o-line.

2.) running game looked good, should've stuck with it before we got down late.

3.) the FSU fumble play with about 4 minutes left pissed me off- 84 kept pushing like a punk, should've been a penalty.

4.) if Matt Floyd did not have to come in on that other fumble, game would've been closer

5.) dumb throw away on fourth down and his pick, but bj kept us in this game and gave his all. You gotta respect the kid.

If our defense plays this well against the rest of our opponents we will be in good shape.

300 only gets filled for big games like this weekend.

200 level is typically for the straggler who tailgate past the start of the game.

140 & 143 is for the HoT

103 & 106 has become the unofficial Greek section.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a few changes to the student section.

- Eliminate the 300 level seats all together.

- Turn 103, 106, 205, & 206 into the Greek section, where the Greeks can get actual reserved seats for their house and can sit together.

- Allow the front rows of 150 and 149 to be reserved for the Beef Studs (150) and Student Bulls Club (149). They already traditionally sit there, just make it official. It would help membership for the two most prominent support groups.

- Create a reserved section for ROTC students who come dressed in their uniforms (along with getting them a real cannon to fire).

Yes I love sitting in the 103/106 section. You can be obnoxious as you want and you don't have to worry about offending families, oh and the chicks!

But sorry guys, again I guess it's just me, but their are more important things to life than a football game. I would like to stand with one of my best friends who lives 4 hours away rather than tell him to sit alone in an away stadium, as would the rest of our group.

If he wears a FSU shirt and tries to get in as a USF student, hopefully the usher or ticket scanner will deny that d-bag entrance to the student section. If not go sit in the 300 level or you will be ****** with

My friend's an FSU student. Good friend of mine. Coming to the game alone with a few of our friends and he's buying my friends ticket that goes to USF. My thing is, he's not a disrespectful guy, he's not gonna start ****, and he knows he's gonna get ****. Sorry you guys are getting worked up, but it's not like I'm bringing in a crew of FSU students that are gonna be rowdy and screaming the warchant and ****.

I was going to ask why he'd even want to sit there but that actually makes sense ... Next thing though, if he's really not disrespectful, he wears something neutral to the game ...and if he doesn't think of it on his own, you should "suggest" it to him.

Probably would be a good idea, but honestly. If I'm going to a USF game, I'm wearing a USF shirt. Even if I'm sitting in someone else's student section. So, it's up to him, I'll probably joke around and say he should just wear a black shirt so he doesn't get jumped but I'm pretty sure he's gonna wear an FSU shirt.

Everyone who actually watches the games is deflated. It's hard to support a team who plays like women.... No offense to women. Most are expecting FSU to bend us over

That could bode well for a Rutgers offense that currently ranks 100th in the nation in total offense. The Gary Nova-led air attack is even a bit lower as Rutgers checks in nationally at No.111 in passing offense. However, the Scarlet Knights are one of 13 FBS teams to not allow a sack this season. And on the other side of the football, the RU defense is ranked No.6 in the nation.

I dont understand why you are flaunting that you are 100th and 111th in offense. Also being ranked sixth in the nation in defense only after playing Tulane and Howard isnt something to hang your hat on. I guess we will see how it plays out on Thursday, but I am less worried about this game than I was for

the Nevada game. In fact I really see this game over before the 4th qtr.

Litt2usf your earlier rant was a good read. I think you should do whatever makes you happy. Im a 5th year senior (super senior lol, although double majoring) and I wouldnt want to be any place but the student section. I am going to sit in the student section even after i graduate (guest tickets) because of the atmosphere. My dad has been a club level guy (rays, bucs, gaytors) and that just isnt the same for me. You are welcome to join me and my friends but we get a little crazy but always try to stay respectful if we are around families.
