Sounds like a USF problem to me. You guys love them green cows.
Hate to say it, but this UCiFer just won this battle of witts.
-
We can make fun of practically any UCiF program, but their basketball program is actually on the rise, while ours has stagnated. To many it appears they're now a better team than we are, despite us jumping out to something ilke a 19-2 all time record we're, what, 2-3 the last several years? With us on the losing end no less.

See you all sooner than later. 8-)
Keep dreaming.
If the Big East were serious about football, then they would have stopped when TCU was added, which now looks to be the case for the forseeable future.
Bianchi trying to mention UCF in the same breath with TCU is one of his best jokes in a long while.
+1
I also LOL'd at him saying they're a top 25 program.
Top 25 one year does not equal a top 25 program imo. The only way they'll manage to be ranked again this year is if they dominate their joke of a schedule like they did last year.

On Campus Football Stadium > Renting Ray Jay by 100000 x!! In the meantime...keep trying to catchup to UCF with your facilities. Congrats on the new ballpark...ours is coming soon.
Basketball practice facilty and the renovated Sun Dome will be better than what you have as well.
:
Our practice facility may end up better than theirs, but it'll take a pretty substantial Sun Dome renovation to approach their new arena.

He was a freshman I believe. Its called developing.
He was a sophomore. His freshman year was with McCullum and then he played a year under Heath and transferred out that off-season.
His play could be because of development and/or level of competition. I'm not convinced his physical tools, or lack thereof, would ever have allowed him success in the BEast.
That's why I said he would probably be scoring 9 to 11 ppg for us instead of 18 ppg for whatever school he's at. :
Then you're saying he'd be our #2 option last year? Heck at 11ppg he's basically our 1A option.
I don't buy it, he's not even at Noreiga's level. I suspect he's a < 5 ppg player on our team for various reasons.
-
I fyou saw him play in the tourny game his skills have not gotten much better. His numbers are all becasue of the competition
Ha, thx for the answer. I figured as much..

This goes to show you how little has changed in the past few years.
It also leaves me begging the question of how Bozeman can possibly be a starter for an NCAA tournament team, if not one of their best players. Dude was just terrible here, all he really excelled at was shooting and he had no ability to get his shot off so he mainly just shot the FT's well.

Great pickup UCF. Damarcus Smith is a good dual threat guy. If he turns out to better than Godfrey, I wonder if O'Leary gives him the starting role. Doesn't Smith have better natural attributes than Godfrey (size, height, speed..etc)?
Yes, very much so. I bet literally 90% of the bullspen membership is taller than Godfrey. I think Smith is like 6'1".

USF has an excuse? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
I was going to post some head to head records in football, basketball, and baseball but I'll just go with...

Our ranking just got bumped up by adding 4 star QB, DeMarcus Smith away from L'Ville!! And L'Ville be MAAADDD!!!
Right now UCF would rank #3 in the Big East recruiting.
Source?

That would be 29 commits. How many did they have enroll early to put on last years class?
Pretty sure they do not count toward 2010's class. They have 29 commits for 2011. Much like our early enrollees (e.g. Floyd) count toward THIS class.
-
The last time USF oversigned a class it was a top 25 class. When UCiF oversigns they get a #43 class. Nothing to be impressed about.
-
They have a larger class and their top may be ever so slightly better than ours but our lower end is much better than theirs.
-
At this point...who gives a f#ck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Grady didn't say the holtz comment. It was Mattfloyd11...
Josh is making that comment to, or @, Matt. So, it's from him.
-
^ I guess he's referring to the 2012 QB that Holtz is checking. It's probably sarcasm, but an odd comment nonetheless.
-
@MattFloyd11 qb from country side , I don't think he's too good but if holtz looking at him he can't judge talent in my opinion

Woah! I'm not sure how to take that comment.
Is he referring to Matt? If so, it's sarcasm.

Amusing sequence there.

Great. Another Look at me athlete who cant get enough attention. I'd rather have kids who know what they want, and have a desire to be at USF.
If he chooses us doesn't he have the desire to be at USF?

Hopkins is a good 3 inches shorter than Lamar. He is listed at 5'5''. There is a reason his nickname is flea.
That's fine, but the OP said he was Lamar 2.0. I guess your statement serves to help refute that Hopkins isn't Lamar, but does nothing for Clarke.
-
Looks like Lindsey Lamar 2.0.
+1 and we already have one of those in Hopkins.
But that's not true though. Lamar and Hopkins are 5'9" and 5'8" respectively. Devin is 5'11" and is a legitimate WR unlike the other two. He has good hands and speed, had over 120 catches, 2,200 yards and 20+ TDs between his Sophomore and Junior years and was having another great season this year last I saw.
We can safely assume that all measurements are inflated so he's probably about the same height as Lamar and Hopkins. Also, is being a legitmate, mediocre, WR worth more than being a more elite athlete converted to WR at the next level? Players are allowed to be converted and can even excel at it you know (i.e. Nate Allen).
That said, I never said I didn't want him I just don't want a glut of tiny players that need 'open space' and don't provide much else. I trust the coaches will go after him if they think he's needed.

Stevie isn't someone we should have in our program anyway imo.

This is pretty hilarious. Seriously.
Now if I were to do it for FL schools with victories over top 10 ranked teams in football and basketball would it be amusing to you?
