What happens if another team drafts a player and then drops him and another team picks them up via FA? Does that cost a 16th? Or one round less than the the player was originally drafted

For example team A picks player A in the 10th round and then at some point drops them. Team B picks up player A from the FA wire. Does that cost a 16th pick or a 9th pick?

It’s one less than drafted still. Only non drafted players can be kept as a 16th.

I cant make it. Will be in Vegas for the Fins game that weekend.

The only realistic road game to Vegas that is closer than BYU is UNLV. This should be the perfect excuse to catch both in the same weekend, especially with BYU being a Friday. I’m driving up to Provo from Vegas the morning of the game.

  3. I’ll be making the drive up. Have some friends from SLC and Twin Falls heading in for it too. I always seem to coax a few of them to head to the game with me whenever the Bulls are on this coast.

Edit: To add SLC is gorgeous, you’ll be a little far for Zion(which I hit once every few months from Vegas) but you have Arches and a ton of other beautiful parks right outside of the city. The Mormon temple there is gorgeous, and they have a surprisingly good brewery scene. Not much between Provo and just south of SLC but it’s not barren either and you’ll be able to find any type of hotel for the most part.

PAC 12 expansion?  Would truly be a bummer if Boise, SD, Fresno, UNLV or other MW teams get to the P5 simply due to geography.

With George Kliavkoff hired as the new Pac-12 commissioner, conference expansion is about to be a topic … maybe. What schools should be targeted?  Pac-12 Conference...

While I’d love to see USF at home every 4 years in football and once a year in every other sport; sign me up for USC, Oregon, UW, etc every other year.

    Transitive property of recruiting

Prostitution is legal in Nevada, so that becomes a feeder for new talent on Nebraska Ave and at Mons

The Nebraska/Mons talent becomes a “pipeline” for getting players to USF

Didn’t you ever see The Program???

To be fair, prostitution is illegal in Clark County. They’d have to drive out to Pahrump for that, and who the **** wants to go to Pahrump?
