I think a lot of people forget that this was only White's 7th game he's ever played in at the college level. Couple the nerves from that with losing 2 of your starting offensive lineman, and expecting a freshman RB to pick up pass blocking duties, and anyone would get happy feet. One positive is that it seemed he did settle down in the 2nd half, and he wasn't sacked at all.

LB's mostly stayed at home to keep the QB contained. We had them covered down field most of the time so he was forced to check down to the screen. Our defense did what they were supposed to do.

UCF fans were silly to think that their offense would be anywhere near as good as it was last year.

Just moved to Lot 6 this year from the North side of the stadium. Kinda pumped to see a bunch of good reviews about it. One question though... can you park there without a parking pass? I have a few in my group that didn't get passes.

This is all so silly. What makes anyone think we can AFFORD to fire him and pay yet another coach not to work? Also I wouldn't rip on our QB's too badly. It can't be underestimated how difficult it is to get the system that we run down solid. We had 2 QB's that never got the benefit of spring ball. These guys are plenty capable and should have this offense down by now. They just need the people around them to help them out.

 

Not to take away anything from the class, but a big reason why were are ranked so low is because of the amount of recruits we have. Here are the averages:

Part of the reason for UCF's class being so low is that they are limited by scholarships available.

These websites don't figure out class rankings simply by averaging all of the recruit's stars. They have formulas that they implement in order to determine the class rankings. UCF's limited scholarships have nothing to do with why they are so low. Some of the sites don't include JUCO's and some only factor in the top 20 recruits in the class for example. I found out what the big secret is and i'm outraged... Sun Dolls aren't going to show any skin next year and male cheerleaders have been cut.

My mom's dad's uncle's brother's great aunt told me something, but you'll have to find her and ask her, because I don't feel like telling everyone and ending up wrong and taking heat for it. But if i'm right i'll toot my own horn and tell everyone I told you so, even though I told you all nothing! 

 

I will say that saying something's going to happen and you know what it is, then teasing the board with it, does create a bad environment for rampant speculation. Better to not say anything at all. Not criticizing anyone, just making an observation.

Also athletics sent out that survey a few months ago and i'm sure a bunch of you filled it out, I know I did. I was not kind in my responses on what fronts I feel we are failing on and that huge improvements were needed. Do you all think the results of that survey had anything to do with Doug stepping down??? 

If it were the JL was innocent, than Judy would be walking with Doug, because they were both major players in getting him out of here. Doubt its that.

Yearby is enrolling early at Miami as well.

Read on Twitter I believe from Josh Newberg, that he's signed 2 other Financial Aid Agreements as well. Doesn't necessarily mean it's all over. If you don't go there you obviously don't get any FA. It's all just going through the motions of getting into and applying to college.

How did this rumor start? According to Jeff Odom they didn't travel with the team, so how could they be smoking in the hotel room? Or were they just left off the roster on gameday? Not sure when travel rosters are due or if they are the same as gameday rosters.

The Communication from the school to the Donors and season ticket holders.  The email distribution list sucks.  Rarely do I get emails about events or functions . Never get ANYTHING from the Bulls Club accept for my bill in the mail( yet make my yearly donation on time each year). (Also have BB and FB season tickets and attend a few away games , All bowl games each year, been to the Garden the past few years as well). Yet they seem to forget my email address.(hasn't changed in years).

 

How many people knew that the Last BB game we were supposed to wear Gold since Stetson also wears green?  Not a single email sent to the season ticket holders about it. ( Saw it on the GO USF BULLS website, in small print).

 

Ive called spoke to numerous people in athletics and in the Bulls club and the problem still persist.  

 

FIX THE EMAIL distribution and keep those who give money informed.

 

I have to find my OWN info to stay informed.  

I noticed the same thing about the "Gold Out" they were trying to do. I was cruising Facebook and happened to see a post about it, a few hours before the game was supposed to start. Meanwhile other schools, including UCF promote things like this nearly a month in advance, if not longer. There are tailgates that are better planned and executed than what the school is paying people to do. They need to hire more people or hire better people. 

Bring your Dramamine... Just seeing the cameras shake on TV when they played Houston made me nauseous.
