Levi hit a 3 run homer in Sunday's game against Michigan State. I believe he's been hurt, but know little. Not sure what's going on with Luke. Both were in the dugout Friday night, the last game we attended.

If you win enough games in a row, people stop and take notice. Go Bulls!
The RPI is a calculated ranking. It doesn't matter who takes notice.
Having said that, the Bulls are getting close to breaking the top 25 in the 2 voter polls.

No golf? No tennis?
Spring sports. They're not included, yet. Those sports saved our bacon, last season.
The fat lady hasn't even warmed up.

Could not agree more.
Seniors, thank you. May you be successful in life's journeys.
We look forward to seeing the rest of you, next season. Onward and upward, ladies.

The Bulls won 105-104 with 4 overs to spare? Did I get that right? If I heard right, USF is the first school with multiple national championships.

That is odd... as I live just down Ehrlich, in Carrollwood. Must be the difference between Direct TV and Bright House.
DirecTV was the problem. I have that and got the UT/Alabama State game, too. We had to watch ESPN3 on Roku with the WatchESPN app to see it. FIOS also had it on ESPN2.

A USF team is playing for a national championship in a sport played by a billion people vs. Rutgers. That is all.
Isn't this like the Bulls 4th or 5th consecutive appearance in the finals? They beat Auburn for the National Championship a year before last or the year before that. I watched that championship match online.

The guys jumped on Holy Cross the first 2 innings, then could not get anybody across until the 15th.
Sanders gave up 2 runs on 5 hits in 7 innings. Phoenix struck out 10 while walking only 1 batter. Tommy Eveld came in at the top of the 8th to close it out, but ended up pitching 7 innings, himself, giving up only 2 hits and striking out 9.

Listened to part of it on the radio. Lefko said Tulsa had maybe 200-300 in attendance. It sounded like they were playing in an empty gym, too.

The Reds play the Cubs in the final series of the season starting Friday, September 30.

That #39, Andrew Yacyk for Liberty is a beast. That 1st home run he hit, the grand slam, went well over the palm trees behind the left field wall. I wonder if it cleared Elm, too.
-
Luke Maglich hit a 3-2 2 out pitch up the right field line for a 11-10 walk off win over Liberty University.
At first blush, hitting and scoring runs look not to be a problem for this bunch,
Pitching is going to be the sore point.

We play a style that is finesse (Euroball) over physical. If you're going to play like that, you have to screen better and hit shots. This program either has to get bigger and more physical or screen and shoot better.
I know. I state the obvious well.

Anybody else noticing how much closer UofL plays on D? That's why Laksa can't get open for a 3. The ladies are going to have to utilize their screens better. Courtney can't do it all.

We've been to every Cincinnati game, home and away, for the 9 seasons. This will be #10 in a row.
We stay with family up there, in Hamilton, but I'll ask around a board I hang out on up there. Staying downtown or in NKY may be a problem when trying to get to the UC campus. The last few years construction delays on I-75 have been brutal.

I've got a feeling with this one. I say we make this a respectable loss; maybe even lead a couple of times. It would be only fitting for us to hang close enough to give some small measure of desperate hope to the hometown faithful, only to see SMU go on a 15-0 run in the second half and step on our throats.
Better than the 30-3 run Cincinnati went on to open the second half Thursday night. I'll be there today, but Mrs. S is staying home. UC was the first real blow out the team has suffered this season. I'm interested in seeing how they react.

Renewed my baseball season tickets as soon as they came out. We're not doing Softball tickets again due to the difficulties of making the games last season.

I was at the game, but heard Jim Louk's call of strip and TD later on the USF highlight video. That will stay with me forever.
"From inside the one. They hand it off to Gray. Tries the left side and I think the Bulls stopped them. THE BALL COMES OUT AND IT'S PICKED UP BY USF! IT'S KAYVON WEBSTER! HE'S GONNA RUN DOWN THE FAR SIDELINE AND NOBODY IS GONNA CATCH HIM!! KAAAYVON WEBSTER! THAT'S 6 FOR THE BULLS! USF LEADS NOTRE DAME!!!"

For the record, we're in Section 16 Row 27WC Seats 11 & 12.

Guess I should go eat now.
You should and someday at a pre-noon tailgate, you will. Nothing beats Mrs. S's homemade biscuits and sausage gravy. Helped give me that fantastic body I have.
I got the email from ticketing. Thank you for all of your help.

Mine simply says TBD1 seats 23 & 24. The money came out of my account. Shows I paid for them on ticketmaster.
Third Base Dugout 1st Row Seats 23 & 24.
That would be sweet. So section FL9, FL10 or FL11?
Apparently TBD stands for what I thought it did, "To Be Determined". They have not received the ADA seating from the bowl, yet.
John Lewis is all over it like sausage gravy on biscuits.

Nothing here, yet.
