His numbers say otherwise. He has willed this team to victory plenty of times. Some of y'all Crack me up with how quick y'all are to heap coals on QF when we lose.

He didn't get the punt blocked. He didn't let the other team score 30+ points. He led all of the under 2 min touchdown drives.

He threw catchable balls with the exception of like 2 skip passes. He didn't throw any interceptions and he created plays with his legs... what more was he supposed to do?

    THIS, SO MUCH THIS!

I'm not a big Flowers fan but he didn't do anything to lose us that game outside of a few times he took sacks. He wasn't the problem and has only been a problem in 1 game so far this year which was FSU. Flowers can lead this team to an AAC title, or at least contention. I can't say the same for our garbage defense...

Quenton played pretty well... the offense in general was atrocious. The line, the running game... We had our share of bounce passes and such - but Quenton's feet kept us reasonably close until the fourth. Hopefully he is able to go next week.

If you can't win a game while scoring 30 points, you don't deserve to win EVER. Even with the offense looking poor at times, this loss is 100% on the worthless pile of chit we call a defense.

I've said it all year. The DL is complete garbage and you cannot stop the run that way.

DL is certainly not as good as last years, but even the LB's are missing tackles 24/7 and out of position. The entire defense is poorly coached.

    FIRE WOODIE!

CWT is not leaving the Bay Area.

He worked very hard to get here and as long as we continue to win and progress as a football program, I don't see him leaving.

I do see other coaches coming on as assistants as their stepping stones but I think CWT is here for the long run.

Leaning towards this sentiment as well. He's from the area so his family is here, gets paid a good amount already, has the team on the right track, and can make a name for himself here. Just seems logical to stay but then again each coaches ambitions are different.

The crowd was pathetic.  Even the students.  I hope it was somewhat related to the hurricane, but it was still bad.

What worse (already mentioned) is that an NFL stadium has clubs and so many common areas for fans to hide and seek shade.  So the crowd appears even worse than it already is.

But since this thread is about local media support, I wanted to contribute this:  I just got my bill for my TBT subscription and I will not be renewing.  Part of it is non sports-related (probably mad cow stuff) but the other part is the way they treat USF sports (the local division 1 university) like a cute little wanna-be brother compared to UF and FSU.  I swear on Saturday there was more about the UF cancellation and of course more about the big FSU/Miami game than the 1inch by 2 inch mention that we were playing at RayJay at noon.  I know most will say because that's what the readers want, blah blah blah, but this is our local University.  At least be a cheerleader and hype the games.  Louisville's local paper would hype the crap out of UL when we used to play them, and they have an SEC team in the state (UK).  I don't know.  The only way to show them how I feel is to kick them in the wallet, so that's what I'm doing.

A noon game for anything other than a top school won't draw students. They're the worst of the worst when comes to fair weather fans.
