I have never been more excited for a basketball game than this one tonight. Looking forward to enjoying the new Sun Dome, all the good food it will offer, and of course the ice cold Budweiser that will be for sale. Go Bulls!!!

What are the best lots on campus to do some tailgating in for men's basketball games? Looking for cheapest parking that is as close as we can get to the Sun Dome that we will be able to drink at.

We better pack the place, UCF is hyping it up, They are offering students tickets and bus ride for 13.00. They are planning on coming in Bus loads.

Would our marketing dept or student government ever put something together like this. Me says no.

UCF has a fair portion of their student body that actually gives a **** about basketball ..... We couldn't get more than a dozen or so students downtown on a regular basis during our best hoops year ever so why should we even try to put something together like that. Let's see how the student turnout is between now and the return game in Oveido to see if it's something even worth trying.

Right, so the question is, why are our students so apathetic, while UCF's are not? Its not like UCF has been some historical powerhouse.

Sorry folks, there are some great people in the dept, but the execution is lacking. I love our university, I just want to see it grow as it should.

By the way, what marketing or advertisements have ya'll seen for this game? I've seen or heard NOTHING on the radio or tv. I guess the department thinks that everyone uses Twitter. Need to start going a more traditional marketing route instead of social media. The people with the big money to donate are more than likely not active on Twitter and will only see your advertisements via more tradition methods.

I have heard nothing outside of social media, the banner on GOUSFBulls.com, and USF pregames when they interview Woolard. In other words, you would already have to be looking for Bulls info to find it.

Looking at Ticketmaster, there are not that many seats left in the 200 level. All 100 level seats are sold out, and they only sell 300 level tickets the day of the game. I'm expecting a near sell out with walk up.

I will be there +2 others and potentially a few more.

Leavitt got us to a certain point, and that point was pretty high considering the odds against us (Program age, facilities, etc.) Holtz has taken us about 3 steps back. We have regressed. One can only hope at this point that his formula calls for regression before progression. If not, it will be time to cut the cord on his tenure.

Can someone explain to me why USF has not started selling single game tickets, yet UCF fans can already by tickets to this game? Doesn't make sense to me.

Good to hear. Im sure the crowds this year will be better for the actual games. This was supposed to be the hype event though. Still incredibly disappointed.

I sure hope you are right. After the opener against UCF if we are anywhere close to full before BE play I will be pleasantly surprised. Hope that's the case. Otherwise looking forward to the where's the crowd threads followed by the responses:

I just dont understand why USF cant get it together with these things. Our teams are BCS (for now) and the programs are run like Div. II. It really is embarrassing.

It's frustrating as a fan when you put lots of your hard earned money and emotion in to the team, and you get a crap product and the players joke about losing. I know we are all human, blah blah, but it is frustrating.

Good factual article written right there. It's all true. Holtz has been a failure so far. Lots of hype, bad results.
