  1. If we can win with Flowers not throwing the ball so much, I'll be happy. I don't know if Flowers can throw any better. Kean is the better passer so far. Just need the experience. If Mack leaves for the NFL. I would love to see Flowers move to the RB position for his future. Like Braxton Miller did for ohio st.

" So with the in person B12 interviews coming up, do you think USF brings in some star power like Tony Dungy? I know he doesn't have very much affiliation with the school, however he was there for CWT's interview. "

    Dickie V   (please don't censor)

Might also make them overlook basketball

    TD is also good

Hell ucf will be bringing Larry the Cable Guy to the meeting. They're one upping USF.

UCF is the only game in town in Orlando, aside from the Magic.  I imagine this plays into it.  I doubt the stations over there were kind to them during the winless season last year.

I'm from the Tampa Bay area. And when I moved to Orlando in the late 90's. You wouldn't know it that there teams were minor league. Co workers would prepare for a minor league hockey game like it was the Lightning. Radio stations would have ticket give aways. I wasn't use to that. Right now there soccer team is a real big deal now.

  4. I live in Lakeland and drive to Haines City for work daily. So I get to hear both stations. There's a HUGE difference between the areas when it comes to the topic of Big 12 expansion. When Orlando two sports stations speak about UCF and the Big 12. It's like they're lobbying for the school. You listen to Tampa station and you get this sarcastic and negative tone.

"Like there's no way USF will be considered. They haven't been good for a long time. They're history too short. Top recruits don't consider them when picking schools. They don't have a on campus stadium. They don't feel the stadium. The men basketball program is under investigation." And the that really bothered me was Douchebag with the, " If USF got into the Big 12, they would be bottom feeders." The Tampa media is a joke sometimes.

I think people know UCF more just because of the BCS bowl and somehow forget they went 0-12 last year. Shows you what one season can do even when head to head record goes to us. The Skip Holtz years really hurt. USF's endowment is almost triple, it's ranked higher in academics by services like U.S. News and Forbes, is ranked higher in research and patents (2 metrics away from preeminent status), has a higher ranked medical school and is in a larger TV market. If you write about these things for a living it's just laziness not to be aware. I just saw this the other day about our medical school.

Now all we have to do is get football back to where it was and higher. This isn't to put UCF down because they have a bright future too. It's just to point out the sloppiness of a lot of sports writers, as well as the ignorance of some fans.

East orlando university also had a home and away with Texas.

Dang, you guys are acting just like when we go into the 4th quarter with a lead... "Oh, we are going to lose this. I can see it now."

You read all the idiotic posts from 2 bit writers all over the Internet guessing out of their butt and you take it to heart.

WE HAVE A VERY STRONG SHOT AT A B12 INVITE.

I do believe that. For all the positive things that have been mentioned.

And to hear Steve Douchebag talk about if we got in. We'd be doormats for the Longhorns and Sooners. Which is total bull**it. TCU haven't been a doormat of the B12. We've shown that we can fill a stadium. We've shown we can be competitive. There's plenty of talent here in Florida to build a top notch program.

  7. In addition to the post by HR above you have Reilly Gibbons at OT. Also, if Calloway comes back at DT then he'll still have 2 years to play. That's 6 quality players not available this year that will at a minimum add depth to the roster.

Wow, this team should be even better by miles next year. Hopefully. I really hope that they will send Flowers and Woulard to a QB camp. Like a George Whitefield.

  8. In this world of sensitivity, you can't make jokes. With our boys wearing tight pants and carrying man purse. I need to be more sensitive. I hope someone in here can take a joke. Losing has done a job on some of the Bulls nation.

Oh yeah, I was there. So I know it was way more than 28 students.

  9. Did anyone watch the halftime show during the game Saturday? Kevin Carter said something Saturday at halftime that stuck with me. Talking about the lack of football IQ of this football team. That's understandable when you have a lot of youth on this team. Both sides of the ball playing in new systems. On defense they play out of position a lot. But with another year in this defense. They can be top notch. But on offense we're lacking a QB that'll scare teams in the passing game. Flowers learning how to play the position. We all don't know how AW will turn out to be next year. And he doesn't have live game experience. This team still need time to grow and develop football  IQ. Will they get a chance? I don't know. November's schedule is very tough. Willie T. could get fired after that schedule.
