I know it's the "cool thing" to harp on the defense BUT this same defense created 4 turnovers AND came up with the stop in overtime. Not saying they were without flaw but they deserve some credit. They had a freaking pic 6 for crying out loud.

Our offense got conservative AND slowed down once we got our double digit lead in the 3rd. That's a terrible combo hence the lag in defense and the need for an overtime. Just different perspective

The most accurate depiction of yesterday.  Defense got some lucky breaks and capitalized.  Offense when vanilla in 2nd half after a big lead.  Didn't step up until the absolutley had to.

    But they came through...

I wonder about doing the 285 bypass to 20 instead if downtown traffic is bad, but I've never tried it to compare times. Unfortunately, you get all the semis on 285. The good news is that when you get past all of that your shining reward is: Alabama.

Just like our teams SHINY reward for a 10-2 record...

Going through Atlanta is all about timing. But you can get to BHam about five different ways within 15 minutes of each other.

Get off 75 in Tifton and take that road through Eufala and into Montgomery and catch the interstate.

Or get off in Tifton and head towards Auburn and catch the interstate down into Montgomery and then up to BHam.  Or from Auburn take 280 through Sylacauga into Birmingham.

Or get on I10, get off in Cottondale, up to Dothan then through Troy to Montgomery.

    I prefer the last way.

Leaving at 8am and hoping to avoid atlanta traffic and make the pep rally at 5.

Ive driven through all these and honestly, it's personal preference.  If you can get through ATL before 4pm, then take that way, it's two highways, and very painless, at the highest rate of speed.

    Go Bulls!

  4. FWIW, I sat in front of Marlon's parents at the Temple game, and they strongly hinted that he would be coming back and finishing his degree next year.  He's one year away from having a legit degree.  Why not be awesome and ranked most the year anyway while finishing out your college playing/academic career strong?

I bet he stays.  Judging from the convo i had with his parents.

But those of you who are sitting next to the Mack family at the Bowl game...get the current SCOOP!!! Unless the OP is a legit troll.
