  1. Warped, Do me a favor and send me the link to the page on ESPN.com that talks all about A.J.'s (Nicholson) second arrest of the offseason a week and a half ago. Or if you have the transcipts from that segment of PTI that'll work too. Disciplinary action has already been decided on, but I guess I have to leave something to the imagination. Apparently, when you come on here with a little inside info that wasn't skywritten, you get called out constantly on it. Lemme know. ~The Source
  2. Here is what we have at this hour, lol. Things around the program are EXTREMELY tight-lipped right now. I was able to acquire a copy of the police report and there was very little that hasn't already been made public. Sexton is currently in a Tallahassee-area mental hospital undergoing observation. UNCONFIRMED reports within the program said that Sexton was on a combination of a couple of hallucenogenic drugs, mainly acid and mushrooms. I was also informed that while no mention has been made of it yet considering the proximity to the events in question and because of who Wyatt's father is (RB Coach Billy Sexton), dismissal from the team would "not be a surprise." At the workout tonight, there were no surprises as Xavier Lee took the majority of the snaps under center. As more information becomes available, I will of course provide it. Till then, this is The Source You stay classy Tampa.....
  3. I apologize for not getting on here sooner. I was made aware of the situation just a short time ago. At this moment, I am unable to get my hands on some more information. I am awaiting phone calls from a few people within the program when practice completes later this evening. Expect an update some time later this evening. Also, I will be making a return trip to Tallahassee on Thursday so if there is anything anyone is dying to know, post it before I go and I'll see what my shovel turns up in the shadows of Doak. Till later this is The Source signing off You stay classy Tampa.......
  4. Well, I can't really be mad, the guy did a week of research to respond. And here is where I am leaving it right now because I am tired of defending myself on this story. First off, I will not report anything on a message board until I am able to confirm my story with someone other than the bum on the corner of Capital Circle and I-10. Why would I bother leaking information that makes my program's already blemished record look worse with yet another arrest. That said, as I was leaving A.J.'s that night Wyatt was being detained. Always looking to drop some inside info but not wanting to report anything false, I waited until the next morning. I called Matt Henshaw, who was with me that night and he told me what the situation was. After hearing that, I called Drew Weatherford, who was also with us, to back up Matt's story. Lastly, I was able to get a hold of Chris Hall, who knows everything there is to know because he dated Bobby's granddaughter from about the time he got here in 2001 until March of this year, and he confirmed the same exact thing as Matt and Drew. I am done defending myself, or the accounts of Wyatt's teammates on this issue. When I am in Tallahassee at the end of this week, I will find out specifically what the end result was or is going to be and what disciplinary action was or has been taken. Until then, I don't think there is anything much left to say. ~The Source .... and you stay classy most of Tampa
  5. If that is the case Bulls96, I would be very entertained to hear your view on how the ACC is going to shake down this year and just who is going to be playing in Jacksonville on December 7
  6. For the last time, disregard the report from the Miami Herald. Xavier Lee has never thought about transferring, talked about transferring, or done anything to get the transfer ball rolling. Both Xavier and Drew are very happy in Tallahassee and will both be there for the remainder of their college careers. The report of Lee's transfer was started by some Miami fan just looking to cause problems with a bogus story. Lee isn't going anywhere. Weatherford isn't going anywhere. The 'Noles aren't going anywhere, ~The Source You stay classy Tampa .....
  7. If the Miami game were tomorrow, Wyatt would most likely be the starter. For whatever reason, they are high on Wyatt, really just for the experience factor. However, Wyatt's recent arrest will definitely give the coaching staff an out if they want to give the opportunity to Xavier or Drew. So while it is Wyatt's job right now, I wouldn't be surprised to see either of the other two come Labor Day. Xavier is always ready to go so he should be much discussed when two-a-days start in August. And despite the recent surgery, Drew is optimistic he will be back at 100% when two-a-days start. So while I guess the job is wide open in some respects, it is Wyatt's to lose right now. He definitely has some stiff competition behind him. ~The Source You stay classy Tampa.....
  8. Correction: The surgery was actually performed yesterday, Thursday, May 5th. Sorry to report the incorrect info. ~The Source You stay classy Tampa.......
  9. The Source is back to provide his two cents on this one. I spoke with Drew early on this evening. The surgery was actually to repair a tendon on the outside of the ankle, not actually something in the ankle. It is a problem he has been coping with since he injured the ankle during mat drills in February and the condition has worsened over time. The surgery was "successful" and the total rehab is supposed to take 8-10 weeks if everything heals as its supposed to. The biggest downfall to the surgery for Drew was the change in his summer plans. Instead of going home, he is now staying in Tallahassee for the rehabilitation. Other than that, Drew is in high spirits and plans on being back on the field at the beginning of fall practices in August and being right back in the competition for the starting QB spot. That's all for now. More updates as they become available. ~The Source You stay classy Tampa.......
  10. Thank you Velcro. You know, it is good to be here. In a lot of ways, a good message board is like a good recipe. You take newsworthy reports, mixed in with analysis and positive feedback, sprinkle on a few nuts all blended together with the love of college sports we all possess and that makes The Bulls Pen one sweet place to post. I will be here reporting valuable inside information as long as you guys allow me. Till Next Time, this is The Source signing off ..... and you stay classy Tampa
  11. Don't worry about scaring The Source away. I am not going any where. I will be here forever making sure we all have something to talk about, with the help of guys like Wyatt. Here's the latest as it stands. No word yet on disciplinary action as of last night when I was able to speak with my sources. As it stands however, Wyatt is the starter, Drew and Xavier a close second. However, if Coach Bowden wanted to give the starting nod to either of the young guns against Miami, this would be his opportunity. A one game suspension for the arrest takes Wyatt out of the equation. More info will be provided as it becomes available. ~The Source
