I don't know anything about South Carolina Upstate(?) but USF should never be struggling against schools that I had never heard of up until this point. Maybe they're actually good in volleyball, but if that were the case they'd be ranked.
USF(6-5) pummeled Alabama A&M(1-12) in straight sets to go over .500 for the first time this year.
Just my two cents on who USF should and shouldn't struggle against. Maybe you are correct, we shouldn't struggle against SCU but we did, but we still came out with the win and that has kicked off a 3 game win streak. IMO, I have two choices, be upset that USF struggled for a win or enjoy the fact USF won. Since idk if we should or shouldn't struggle against, maybe SCU will win their conference, idk, I'll just be happy for the win. Had we have lost I would just feel bad we lost, regardless of who we play. I don't buy into the lesser university athletics. So every win is as thrilling for me whether its against SCU or Alabama. I'm not being derogatory toward your comment, i understand where you are coming from i've just spent too much of my life being negative about USF athletics in general, for my sanity I need to try to accentuate the positive in all aspects of my life.
Peace and love! GO BULLS! -

SMU didn't have to win anything first. 0 conference championships and a very similar record to USF over the past decade. SMU's leadership took the chance that I had been advocating for years. Take a reduced share and prove your worth to the conference. I hope everyone enjoys the on-campus stadium while playing the likes of UNT, Charlotte, and our new rival, FAU.
I will enjoy playing those team in an OCS because wtf am i going to do about it anyways? Might as well enjoy what football I can get out of the Bulls. I'd rather watch the Bulls lose or win playing "lesser" teams then not be able to watch them at all. Additionally, I don't care how we start winning nor do i care what conference we are in when we start winning. But I do think that had we been winning the past 3 years and we had an OCS, we would be a lot closer to being in, if not in, a different conference. And SMU? That was a foothold grab if anything else. ACC has no Texas teams hence SMU was more desirable than USF. IMO, I think the B10 will be the conference that comes for us if any come for us at all simply for the Florida foothold access.
All in all my two cents, which means about as much to college football as it does to you.

Well, this makes the immediate future much bleaker. Just have to keep winning and hope that we can land somewhere when the major ACC programs eventually bolt.
Let start winning first.

Well, honestly, no one really expected the Bulls to win at all this weekend and so far its true to script. GT proves why its #20 in the country while the Bull are not. GT wins match in three straight sets. Hopefully there will be better days (this weekend hopefully) Gators tmrw.

Coach on the hottest seat this year: Jolene or Billy?
Also, isn't Mohl just a couple years removed from a Super Regional appearance? Cant imagine he is on the hot seat already, but maybe

Well I think Jolene may be on the hot seat unless there is significant improvement. Not that this is saying much but they did go from 7 wins to 10 wins, this being her 3rd full season, can't really count 2020. At any rate. I'd say anything below .500 will be problematic for her. but she is an ex-USF player and that definitely goes in her favor. Plus, I cant image there are any replacements that are going to make USF Vball any better than under Shepherdson. But IDK, certainly not an expert on vball, i just enjoy the games, regardless of the coaches or players or whatever.

Volleyball has always been a great sport to me. In fact, out here many of my basketball players also played volleyball. I think at USF, for me, it is Football/MBB/Baseball/Volleyball for me in that order and has been for a long, long time...
For me every USF event is something I look forward to, the string lights go on, the flag is flying outside my house and USF victory bourbon is always flowing. Of course football has such a bigger importance because of the national interest and MBB/WBB is not far behind but generally I try to watch every event. I'm so glad that ESPN+ has a deal with the AAC which allows me to watch so many events. I even watch the AAC X-Country championships!! lol

What are y'all doing to yourselves. 3,000 pages and USF is still being mentioned by no one credible and never has been. Why do you keep torturing yourself. Shut this thread down and stop living off every crumb some insignificant nobody says off twitter.
USF is being mentioned by absolutely no one, and never will. Move after move after move and not only is USF not a candidate, they are literally being mentioned by NO ONE other than people on the board.
What are you doing to yourselves. Please give up this fantasy once and for all. USF is wanted by no one.
MK and Prez Law are convincing no one. What more do you need to see? Really? What more.
So you're saying there's a chance...........

As usual, i have no life so I am wide open. sort of, can't draft the following date/times.
8/16 8-10p est
8/19 9-11p est
9/2 730-930p est
9/3 815-1015p est
Those dates and times are oddly specific. One might query, why those times? Other drafts of course. I said I had no life.
