New Year, new coach, new team put together with new parts and pieces from other teams, same result. I remember the days when CSH was winning and everyone was complaining because we were only scoring 50 pts. I'd love to get back to those days.

Apologies if this has already been brought up, I just found out. Evidently USF is putting on a early season tournament, says in Tampa so that'd be cool. Nothing against Clearwater but I'd rather have the team play in their own stadium.  Anyways, its 2/16-2/18 and with UConn, Louisville and Indiana St. Should be great! I may even haul my fata** down from NC to partake. GoBulls!

Team moves up to 101st in RPI, obvy still not enough but winning out can certainly help. Go Bulls! Take out FIU! 

If, at the beginning of the season, I'd been told we'd be 5-5 after 10, i would have gladly taken it.

Volleyball beats ECU in the second match-up of the weekend. Took 5 sets, were up against match point in the 4th game but hung together and pulled victory from the jaws of defeat 25-12-23-31-15. The team is now 17-10 overall and 11-5 in conference. What a turnaround. Next up a two matches against FAU (16-11 8-6). Too bad the AAC doesnt have a vball tourney. Not sure why they don't. I dont think the Bulls can catch SMU (19-6 13-1) unless SMU loses there last 5 games. So the auto-qualifier is out. I also don't think  USFs RPI is enough to get in the tourney at-large but with 3 games left, it could happen. Before the two wins against ECU their RPI is 126th. We will see how much they can jump up the list. 

Not that I'm a runner, if you ever see me running its either from cops or zombies, but a shoutout and handclap to a couple of Bulls who competed this morning at the South Regionals. 

On the Mens side
Freshman Jack Dravo @jcdravo came in 84th out of 177 (perhaps someone to build a team around?) 
Grad NIck Kamen @thenickkamen closed out his college career in 148th. NIck has been running for USF for 5 years, so a program stalwart I am certain

On the Womens Side ( i never understand why women run 6k and men run 10k, somewhat sexist no? I mean its not like these women cant run a 10k, so why the difference? anyways...)
Senior Kelly Lynch @_kelly_lynch ran solo for the Bulls and ended up 106th out of 214th.  Kelly has been on the team for four years. Another stalwart which we will be sad to leave if this is the end of the line for her. 

I say congrats. I know our x-country program struggles but its our x-country program and we love you and are super proud of you guys! .
