if it happens it will be because of our poor OOC schedule, and losses to bad teams. Could we get an at large, I guess its possible but I'll believe it when I see it.

the problem is in basketball you lose most of your team after a coaching change, but it is what it is in the minor leagues. If he gets a big time offer he has to take it, you move up when you are the hot name. No guarantee he has those options again. I have always said it is better to have a coach leave for a better job, than having to fire a coach. USF should absolutely make a run at offering an extension with a raise. Kelly should have already made that offer, increase his pay but also increase the buyout. He may or may not take it. Now if we really have a shot at Knox and he signs here, that may be enough to keep Coach around another year.

Regardless of what happens, I enjoyed this season and will hate to see him go, I was 100% wrong on him being a terrible hire.

in the prediction contest? That is more so because I am trying to make up ground. I do not really expect a 10 point win, but if SMU blows USF out I will be one of the few to make that prediction and thus move up. I have picked against us in a few games I thought we had little chance of losing because I fell behind.

not a fan of SMU. I think the game is a toss up. I would not be shocked at all with a loss.  That being said A bet on the underdog is a great value esp if they have a decent chance at getting the win.

I doubt they cut down any nets. Only do that if you win the Tournament. Regular Season Conference Championship means nothing, other than we get the best Seed in the Tourney.

That would be awful. I think we likely sneak into the NIT, but likely no home game. The new selection process for the NIT is complete BS.
