the white helmet is a great choice.  it can double as a surrender flag once Bridgewater starts slicing up our secondary early in the game and we can get that running clock moving for the 2nd half. 

It's hard for the other team's QB to throw when he's on his back. CWT has said that repeatedly. I think that our D-line is going to be able to get enough pressure on Teddy to throw him off of his game. Our D isn't our problem.

This is an actual ad off craigslist.  First the game is USF vs Louisville not "Cincinnati" / "CICCINNATI"  , second the spelling and grammar is atrocious. Hope its a joke, I don't know why anyone would put out an ad that is so poorly written, has a name and actual phone number  and the wrong team playing.  

Was tempted to call and email the person to say Dude what The F is this crap LOL

 

I would have just stopped at the Cincinnati/Louisville faux pas. It's a freaking Craigslist ad not a term paper. All you want to do is convey details as succinctly as possible. As far as atrocious spelling errors, I see two minor ones, "canidate and "isle". The second Cincy is obviously a typo. He definitely should have proofread it but I've seen lots worse on here.

UCF fans were pretty cool. They rooted for their team and didn't talk trash. It ws a nice game, until the end. UCF players go and start taunting the goal mouths then a USF player get's involved. Never escalated but marred a pretty good match.

UCF just scored a well taken goal. IF we ever learn to shoot the Flippin ball we might be good.

0-0 half We've several good chances hit the crossbar once. Completely agaisnt the run of play UCF almost scored with about 2 min left. Pretty good crowd, lot's of knights fans.

 

 

I'm very happy with the last two wins and would be ecstatic with a bowl berth this year, but this game really feels like it will be the result of the Miami game from a couple of weeks ago. 

 

Remember, it just took us 4 full quarters to beat one of the worst teams in the country, and it doesn't appear Bench and Shaw are on their way to save the day.  I'd be thrilled if we were within one score late in the 4th quarter.

Big difference between UM and UL. UM has 3 OL on their roster under 300lbs and 11 over. UL has 11 under 300lbs, and 7 over . Size isn't everything, but it sure gets in the way when your trying to rush the QB.

 

 

I hear you and if we do win, it will be our d-line that must make the difference.  We would need to hit Bridgewater early and often. I wasn't really comparing UM and UL as teams as much I was meaning to say that I think the score of the game would be similar.

 

I figured as much, I just hope that we don't get blown off of the ball like we did against UM.

It would be a mistake to take McCray's red shirt off so far into the season. Let Davis and Tice share the carries all game and try and get into a rhythm. They need all the touches they can get.

It would be a mistake to not take his red shirt off if he can help us win Saturday, and the rest of the season. We have more opportunity to win our conference than 6 of our conference mates.  

FSU played for the BCS title in 98, 99, and 00. They were the first team to go wire to wire.

I think that we'd get our asses handed to us on a regular basis, for a few years. BUT, we could increase our athletic budget and eventually compete. We would still have UCF on the schedule, and get WVU back on the schedule. I'd take it in a heart beat.

Did anyone else see the scroll at the bottom about the Eastern Michigan receiver being murdered? Puts things into perspective.

If UL win tonight, they will most likely be a top 5 team next week, Clemson (3) hosts FSU (5).

 

 

I love the optimism, however..... 8 quarters without an offensive touchdown against mediocre defenses leads me to believe we can win 1 maybe 2 more games.

But we scored two against Miami? True we are not consistent but not unable to score touchdowns.

One of those came on their third string defense. The offense issues are way too concerning

 

Yeah, but UM's 3rd string is better than some defenses in the AAC.

As it stands now we have the same or better opportunity to win the conference as anyone else. Why would we "save" a redshirt while sacrificing a season?
