Leavitt took heat from many on this Forum, senselessly I might add, because he took quite a few from the JUCO ranks. Now that Taggart's doing it, it's now somehow acceptable and preferred by those same charlatans. Special people on this Forum........short bus riders really. Bill Snyder at K-State has consistently lived off of great talent from the JUCO ranks and FSU is where they're at because they were able to pull in some studs from JUCO. Funny how the worm turns around this place, isn't it?

So your telling us that you personally remember people who negatively posted about CJL taking JUCO players? Seriously? Keep in mind that CJL left in 2009.

There wasn't a large faction of posters that were against it but some here definitely criticized CJL for it. Even within the segment of the board that wanted CJL gone the ones that were vocal about the number of jucos were a minority.

 

I don't doubt that there was a segment that were against it, heck there's always a segment that's negative about each subject. I take exception to this portion of his post   "those same charlatans. Special people on this Forum........short bus riders really". I get the feeling that hbryan is just negative about CWT simply because he isn't CJL.

I'm amazed that we are still trying to sell upper deck season tickets.

IMO the OCS argument is moot. BUT, I'm sick of people using UM as an example of a university using an NFL stadium. UM doesn't have the room on their campus to build a stadium. So, please in the future stop using UM as an example. Their entire campus is only twice the size of our "athletic district".

WTH did AL do to deserve to be first team? 

While it is everyone's "right" to criticize who they want. It is also my "right" to call those of you that are extremely harsh on our players to say that you are tools, and need to take a step back and ask yourself "would I say what I'm about to type to the players faces?" . Just an idea.

EDIT: to be clear. Yes, I would call those of you tools face to face!

Now that it's been announced that he will not be charged. Having read what I've read, I think that the right decision was made, but at the same time I feel bad for the young lady involved. At the very least she regrets that the encounter happened and that can't feel good.

Meggs has always been a "grandstander". The FSU fans I know detest that man.

Slick, I don't know who you've talked to about FSU/UF/UM games, but I can post from my own personal experiences. I've been to several games in Miami and Gainesville wearing FSU colors. Not once did I ever fear that my car would be vandalized, and not once was I ever threatened.

Maybe a Freudian slip, but take them for example. Muschamp has had more time to show he can keep the Gators relevant, and they fell on their face. They have to be looking forward to that FSU game like we're looking forward to UCF. But they're holding on to the guy in spite of the product. In Taggart's first year (FIRST year), we should probably just shut up and just do the same.
