they probably remember the way that we FINISHED the season which definitely wasn't pretty. An embarassment at UConn, a loss to West Va, and a shutout to NCState.

if they ripped the Head Coach position by naming the Most Overated, would have been interested if they did the same with the OC positions.

Congrats to Jones on the selection. Quite an accomplishment. He was one of the lone bright spots on the season but the kid brought it all year long. I was happy to see his improvement from last year to this.

I don't see him making an NBA roster next season. Maybe after a few years in Europe ala Chucky. I don't think he had a better senior campaign than Big Will a few years ago and he couldn't catch on with an NBA squad. I think he's still making some serious coin over in Espana.

Mac hasn't been able to sustain a full bench for 3 seasons.  It's a combination of the players HE recruited and HIS decisions to kick HIS recruits off the team.  

And your "what's wrong with 14-16" comment?   People taking satisfaction with the fact that 14-16 has been our best record for 3 years is the problem.

Sometimes you make your own luck in this world. Mac knew what he was getting into with Sills when he recruited him. He knew about Cann's injuries.

Yes, he has had some tough breaks, but he has to be held accountable for some of the ailments a short bench has been causing.

Freshmen basketball players don't make that much of an impact as far as national media attention goes.  Reddickand morrison are both seniors and to be slightly politically incorrect, are both white.  It's sad to say but if those two fellas were african american you would hear about them about as much as you hear about any other african american that went to Duke, NEVER.

Listening to Ron & Ian on WDAE this morning, a prominant USF booster called in and said they support Coach mac and that they  think all the Huggins rumors are coming from the Huggins camp, not USF or the boostors.

I've seen his name on some mock draft sites as a late 2nd rounder. Also, a few weeks ago some guys on the Orlando magic site, undoubtedly UCFers, threw his name out as a possible selection in the draft. Plenty of teams could use a guy in the mold of Theo Ratliff
