Another player from Immokalee.
USF is now his favorite, according to 247.

These 5 players have all said they will enroll early at USF:
Brian NorrisStacy Kirby
Antonio GrierTrent SchneiderDwayne BoylesThere could be others.Someone with access can check to see which of them are already enrolled at USF for the spring semester.I suspect that USF Football will eventually issue an official release on them. -
Enrolled!

We are starting to find out.

Well deserved!

I wonder if 247 will NOW give him back his three star rating, which they took away when he committed to USF.

Not true!
"Keeping Leavitt in Eugene was a priority, and the former USF head coach is back for 2018."

Well, at least we are mentioned.

Athlon: Way-Too-Early College Football Top 25 for 2018

Not surprising that there is no mention of USF.
However, it's hard to believe they left out the "2017 National Champion" from their top 25.
How soon they forgot.

There is no analysis or mystery. I said I have a feeling and that's just it.
By the way, check whom all didn't vote USF into the top 25 and you'll understand my ill feelings.
You make a fair point.
There are 24 voters who did not have USF in their top 25.
Obviously, not all of them will put USF in their final 25 just for beating TT in a bowl game. Some will prefer to add other teams instead.
However, let's just say that all 24 of them voted USF #25 that would only be worth a total of 24 points.

UCF national champs? Florida lawmakers could declare it so
Florida lawmakers are being asked to take action the College Football Playoff Committee won’t: Declare UCF national champions.
Kevin Cate, a Democratic consultant and Auburn University graduate, tweeted this week that lawmakers should consider a resolution declaring UCF national champions after it knocked off Auburn 34-27 in the Peach Bowl on New Year’s Day.
On Twitter, the idea gained support from Rep.Amber Mariano, R-Dunedin, a UCF graduate; Rep. Kionne McGhee, D-Miami; and Sen. Oscar Branyon II, D-Miami Gardens.Read more at: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/politics/political-pulse/os-legislature-ucf-national-champions-20180103-story.html
Surprise, surprise that FSU and UF legislators are not interested in doing that. LOL
“I vote HELL YES,” wrote UCF graduate Piccolo in an email. “The Gators and Seminoles here [in Tallahassee] are not keen on it. But I am still working on them.”

Thanks.
I'm just a poster here like everyone else, but when I see something of interest about USF recruiting, I just naturally report on it. I don't use any info behind a pay wall, since I am not a member of any such sites.

I'm not sure we'll even be ranked. The problem is that so many people don't have us in their top 25 to begin with. Then you factor in the win's from Money5 teams and the backlash coming toward us for UCF's comments and wate'll be hard pressed to be ranked. I just feel it in my gut and hope I am truly wrong.
I could see us falling to #25 at worst, because we won our bowl game against B 12 TT.
Our two (close) losses came from Houston and UCF.
Since TT beat Houston, that loss is somewhat now diminished.
#10 UCF beat #7 Auburn and they will likely finish in the top 8 which will make our loss to them look even better.
I don't know why you think there will be a backlash to USF because of comments made by UCF regarding the unfairness of the CFP which had them ranked #12.

This is what I'm thinking. Since schools can't comment, we'll never really know.
My guess is that his mom just wanted him to sign with Iowa State, but he was undecided and he didn't sign with anybody in the early period.
We may have pulled his offer when he didn't sign.
Take a look at her twitter feed:

There was only one behind us who was ranked. The receiving votes winners had 4 to 5 losses so I think we are safe with three spots to 20. Could be 21 or 19 too.
I think you have to take more into account the large disparity in points between us and those ahead and also the teams they played.
19 Mem 475 L
20 NW 398 W
21 Wash St 342 L to ranked #18 MSU
22 VT 323 L to ranked #17 OKL St.
23 USF 115 W over Tech Tech
24 Miss St 103 W over Louisville RVs
25 Boise 59 W over Oregon
RV NC St 54 W Ariz St
http://www.espn.com/college-football/rankings/_/poll/1/week/15/year/2017/seasontype/2
It's not easy to pick up so many additional points needed to jump over many teams by beating TT.
Miss St will likely jump over us with their victory over UL
Memphis (with their one point loss to Iowa state) might still be ahead of USF because they are currently 360 points in front.
So, I think USF finishing at #22 or even #23 is more likely.

Shocking that he's not requesting more Twitter followers.
Ha! Ha!
I think what prompted so many signed players to ask for more USF followers was a tweet by USF Football saying it had 100,000, so they figured they could get some of them.

I just noticed that he took an official visit to Iowa State on December 8. I presume that his mom accompanied him and apparently was very impressed, yet he did not sign with them during the early period.
Perhaps, he is still looking around.
Either way, it opens up another scholarship.

Yeah I had that argumesnt a few years ago this board and lost...like now. The recruiting board has little discussion and all that is there is just a long list. It seemed this lossend up a little during the national signing days though.
The rule here has been that once a player is signed he becomes a topic for discussion on this board, if someone wants to post about him here which could have a bearing on next year's team.
Sometimes, it just makes sense to still post new info on him in his recruiting thread, because it provides more context, such as him playing in some post season HS all-star game.
It's easier to search a recruits name on that board to find his main thread.
IMO, it's good to have a recruiting board separate from the main board.
Keep in mind that this is not a paid recruiting site and people just glean info from open sources.
Those who want more info on recruiting can always go to one of the pay sites. We try not to use premium info or links to premium articles.

Boyles is the one who needs to size up more to play DE, since his is only 225. He could move to LB, which he also played in HS.
