  1. While at Busch Gardens yesterday, two thing seemed very strange to me.  First of all, the "make a basket - win basketball" game has full size BULLS basketballs with our old logo?  I was pleased to see many people walking around with them, but come on....

Those things probably cost BG a dollar each?  Just spend a couple bucks and get basketballs with the right logo for the Universty that's about a mile away from the park!  Give those to some charity or needy children something.

Then in the arcade, they have one of those games where you pick up the teddy bears with the big hook.  Well, this one game game is filled with footballs.  And the logo??????  OU...as in Oregon.  What is up with that?

  2. Not a "complaint", but more of an observation / creative critique:

What is up with the SPT commercials about football season in February during basketball broadcasts?

Don't get me wrong - I'm thrilled that we have the sponsors and the coverage, but how hard is it for a media/marketing giant to put together appropriate advertising - for their own product?

    Am I missing something here?

  3. I'm sure this will get me in trouble.....but......

I, for one, am not attracted to women's basketball.  To me, it's night and day from the men.  The speed, the hops, the excitement is just at a different level and for whatever reason I can't really get into it.

Don't get me wrong, I support my Bullets and Bulls alike, but I'm not going to drive from Sarasota to watch a sport that really doesn't do it for me.

  4. It was  a thank you for making the journey to NC for the Bowl game.  You know, the usual, started out in trailers, yada yada yada (I'm over the whole "trailer" story) - anyway, the letter was a nice piece - though I'm not sure what it's intent was (other than the obvious "thank you").

It does mention looking forward to my support next year so I was kind of thinking it was a proactive season ticket thing, but I'm hoping they realize they don't need to be marketing season tickets to inaugural season ticket holders who traveled to NC for a bowl, so apparently it's just a geniune "thank you".
