We specialize in name errors, blasted calls, and apparently phantom games, too.

Memphis did pretty well for playing USM and UAB at the exact same time, eh? Must have had depth issues. And look, they scored the exact same in both games!
The only thing Pitt can use as an excuse in this one is Ingle Martin starting at QB for #2 1-AA Furman. That's not much of an excuse.

Me neither, i only remember them calling him to run once. I was hoping it was a QB-choice option that Julmiste unwisely kept, but it didnt look that way to me.
-
This was a big sticking point for alot of us after last week. It would seem the coaches were on it. We ran the ball a lot more and that helped Julmiste, who finally looked good out there.
Now, the negatives. Turnovers and penalties. That's what made us almost lose this game. Without turnovers and penalties, this wouldnt have been even NEAR OT. Good overall team effort. Let's get 3-1 next week baby!

I'm starting a lynch mob on the official that called the "roughing" and "personal foul" face masks at crucial times in the 4th quarter to give the home team a chance.
To bulster my numbers, we will also be going after the ref that threw the personal foul on UF, because even though I don't like the gators, that call was BS and we need a good sized lynch mob.
Who's in?
-
Let him call plays now. It can't be any worse. Carl Franks has a lot of potential, and he's coaching the stronger of our 2 offensive attacks.
-
New offense. Running out of the shotgun isn't bad, and we should do it more. But we need to use other sets for both running and throwing too.
Running isn't that complex a thing to teach.
-
Can Ronnie Banks play defense?
He would be the only player in college history to get sacked on defense.
-
An offensive change is needed. In both QB and scheme. TCU has a pretty good offense, they're scoring alot per game. We'll need our O to hang in this one.
-
Run it alot. And then have the half backs throw, because they can't throw it any worse, and will have an excuse.
-
I form. Two tight end set. Play action now and then. Occasional deep shot. Hand the ball to the fullback (crossley as FB). QB draw (they can't throw it anyway). Throw it about 40% of the time.
This will keep us in games and our D alive. We have the personnel for it. Do it!
-
Baylor and EMU. Because they are bad teams that like screwing peope.
-
Coaches must adjust or bust.
-
BANKS NEVER TO START AGAIN. Put in the freshman and run it.
-
It all depends what the coaches do now. If I don't see a significant change in either playcalling or personnel, I will brace for a long year and a tough time improving for the team. We have 2 very solid running backs. We have 1/2 a QB between the 2 that played. Make the other teams load up the box.
-
We throw the ball WAY too much for 111 yds.
-
I guess it's time I returned to the board full time. I hate losing my password.
How is our coaching? Let me take a stab at it. Leavitt is every bit as good of a D coach as anyone has said. The players are young in the secondary however and it shows. If they can not be brought along its going to be tough. A young D was allowed to be tired vs USC thanks to the offense. Leavitt's D has been good for as long as I can remember, including last year. But you need offense too.
Our offense without Marquel Blackwell has been nothing short of pathetic. Older fans (prior to 2001) - Did we always run the spread?
Offense can not work without a balanced pass/run threat. Our offensive coordinating and playcalling and execution (ALL 3!) have been short of acceptable for over a year.
Leavitt will a) CAN the OC and hire a new one or fail
It will be a long year because I'm used to my beloved bulls getting at least 7-9 wins, but without a turnaround that isn't going to happen this year.
-
I say they will finish 9-2 or so and are likely to win the BE.
-
Miami can do its thing anywhere: play great football, be avg in basketball, and use hoards of money to keep their status the way it is.
The other defectors will be hurting.
-
Our game there scares me more than even @ USC, @TCU, or Pitt at home.
-
The Orange bowl could always take either the BE or ACC winner as a champion, and often could get both.
-
completely agreed. This is the worst crime we have seen any coach commit all year. And he is suffering far less? No. Get him out of there now!
-
NO Oline votes for the new poll? Are you kidding? We hardly lost anyone, many are experienced!
-
Bullwark--I dont think ANY college can watch what a pro team does and copy it. The pros play their assignments very well. Part of what Spurrier does is confuse defenses so they screw up and give up big plays. Relatively EASY to do in college vs the NFL, dont you think?
That said, Leavitt has one of the better winning % since he has started here, and has worked to be better every year. If spurrier wants to be OC, he can try like any other candidate. But i dont think making him one would reflect well on our integrity...we dont have an opening do we?
He is for another school to take. And some places could use his help alot more than us...we've been doing pretty well thus far, changing personnel would only screw things up.
anyone see a problem
