* Florida State is pushing to get into the Gasparilla Bowl in St. Petersburg. The Seminoles technically would have to be bypassed by every ACC bowl to be available for a non-ACC bowl. But I’m told FSU is lobbying to play in St. Pete. If FSU is not successful getting to St. Pete, the Seminoles would probably end up in the Independence Bowl. If FSU gets to St. Pete, it’s unknown if they would play the American rep (USF) or C-USA rep (FAU). This one could get interesting.

USF 2.0 is looking more real by the moment...

On the radio this morning it was rumored FSU coach Jimbo is leaving for Texas A&M . Not that interesting...

The more interesting part of that conversation is that FSU's #1 target is Taggart and Leavitt combo if he does. The best of USF coaching on one team IN the state of Florida, very interesting indeed if it happens.

With so much riding on the line for USF on Friday, it got me thinking if we have ever been in a game with more on the line?

This was supposed to be USF's year, we were the school who everybody picked to win it all in the AAC, and then UCF has overshadowed us by week 6... That said everything can change on Friday when we win.

I know we were #2 once, and had a huge game with Rutgers... no USF fan will ever forget that.

I know we could have beat UConn and maybe sneaked in to a BCS bowl I think in 2005 or 2006.

I just feel like winning this game at this moment will be the biggest step USF can take for the nation to look at us as the G5 team on top. that is... until we play Memphis :-)

Or maybe just too much Green and Gold adrenaline pumping through my veins!!

Article talks about Facebook willing to pay 600 million for Cricket rights... what this tells me is digital media platforms will be a big part of the next round of negotiations.  This should only mean good things for USF down the stretch.
