  1. Berns 16 ounce Ribeye comes with

    soup

     salad

2 vegetables (unlimited, you just need to ask for more)

baked potato with all the fixings

    for 47.90

Berns is the best priced high-end steakhouse period. The atmosphere might be a bit old fashioned, but considering what your complete dinner gives you compared to what the ala-cart price would be for all this food at Capitol Grill, Charley's or Ruth Chris to name a few, it's an outstanding bargain.

    and the dessert options....

  2. Realignment will move where the money is... It's moving away from cable subscribers an more towards individual schools and the fan bases they can bring.

Long-term, I see distributors like Google, Amazon, Netflix even ESPN and others charging two hundred dollars a season to watch our games. bigger fan bases will pull in more revenue, and schools like Rutgers lose even more value to a conference.

My opinion, but changes are coming, and that can only mean more opportunity for USF.

I would rather be USF than Iowa State long-term...

    Brad,

Just a quick note. The team store was run by Barnes and Noble, who had the bookstore on campus for the past 15 years. They lost the bid for a contract extension, so the team store and the bookstore are starting with new management today. No idea the lag time, but I can confirm that Barnes and Noble was still moving stuff out on Friday, so it may take a week or so to set up new stores as the only thing that remains is the building, everything inside was owned by the Barnes and Noble. I am guessing the team store in the dome and the online shop are going to come along, but the first focus will be getting the main bookstore up and running.

Do you know who won the bid?

Shares of Chinese streaming company iQiyi Inc. are up 4.4% in Monday morning trading, marking a continuation of the stock's impressive June rally, after the company said it has obtained the broadcasting rights to the four golf majors. IQiyi shares are now up 70% so far in June. The company said it has become "the largest source for professional golf live streaming and video information in China" after acquiring the rights to the U.S. Open tournament.

Just another sign that streaming companies are going after broadcasting rights of live major sporting events.

  5. Was listing to a talking head speak about the new service and was a bit alarmed... Sounds like if a USF football game is not on ESPN family of channels it used to go to ESPN3. Now it will be on ESPN+ and we all would need to pay 4.99 a month on top of our paid cable subscription.

as an FYI, all the P5 conferences are exempt from the new fee... which if true, is complete BULL****

    Can anybody confirm this?
