  1. Worst idea would be to hire Dan Werner. I am a Um fan when the bulls arent playing them. And just because Um goes and fires an OC doesnt mean he would be great with us. The guy got fired cuz UM's offense with all those weapons and 5 star recruits couldnt do crap anymore. So your tellin me he is gonna come in here with our players and turn things around. We need a new oc but not this guy fellas gotta think about it!

    Go BULLS!

  2. BCS Conference Power Rankings

    1. Big Ten: It's hard to argue with seven bowl teams and two BCS appearances. While Purdue and Michigan State bombed and Michigan failed to meet expectations with four losses, Penn State and Ohio State were two of the best teams in the nation and Wisconsin and Northwestern were pleasant surprises.

    2. SEC: There wasn't much offense to speak of in the SEC, but no conference in the country can compare with the conference's defensive talent. Tennessee's demise took away from impressive seasons by Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Alabama and South Carolina.

    3. Pac-10: USC sets the standard, and Oregon and UCLA exceeded expectations, but the drop off after that is considerable. Disappointments from Cal and Arizona State hurt most.

    4. ACC: Not as strong at the top, but its depth is impressive. Virginia Tech, Miami and Florida State are the cream of the crop. Georgia Tech, Boston College, Clemson, N.C. State, Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland are all competitive.

    5. Big 12: The Big 12 is down despite Texas' run to the Rose Bowl. The North is a joke and Oklahoma's rebuilding year didn't help, either.

    6. Big East: If it weren't for West Virginia, the Mountain West would have an argument for the nation's sixth-best conference.

  3. two glaring needs and reasons why were struggling. Injuries first and foremost howard was gonna be a solid pg and his injury set us back a year, dennis getting hurt forced capko who wouldnt have played I think if we had the two of them. The other is no size. Other than Solomon we dont have any size to compete with the upper echelon teams. You can only have so many shooters. Give coach this year we won big games last year at the end but we lost our best 3 players and then this year lost our best newcomer and rising star in dennis. Bear thru this bulls fans will be back but not this year. GO BULLS!

  4. South Florida

Picked to finish seventh in the Big East, the Bulls (6-5, 4-3) stunned conference favorite Louisville, 45-14, in both teams' Big East debut and ultimately secured the first bowl berth in the program's nine-year history. Next up is a Dec. 31 matchup against North Carolina State in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.

Coach Jim Leavitt built the program from the ground up -- his first office was an abandoned trailer -- and near the end of the season was signed to a seven-year deal. Interest in the team has picked up, as evidenced by the crowd of 45,274 that showed up at Raymond James Stadium for the season-finale against West Virginia.

Team speed was a strength (Pitt wide receiver Greg Lee said USF had the fastest defense in the conference), but Leavitt needs to build a better passing game and replace star tailback Andre Hall next season.

MVP: Hall led the conference in rushing with 1,256 yards and was 14th in the country at 114.2 yards per game.

Biggest disappointment: The Bulls had only themselves to blame for a crushing, 15-10 loss Nov. 26 at UConn, a defeat that cost them a chance to win the Big East title. USF committed five turnovers, allowed a 90-yard kickoff return and tried a trick play on fourth-and-goal from the 6 with 6:08 remaining, instead of kicking a field goal to pull within three, putting the ball in the hands of UConn's impotent offense.

What's next: USF made the smart move by retaining Leavitt, who was a candidate at Kansas State. This program has great growth potential amid the fertile Florida recruiting grounds and is headed upward. Fast.

  5. If U CANT COME AND SEE HALL ONE MORE TIME AT RAY J THEN SHAME ON YOU! BEST RB EVER HERE AND LEAVES EVERYTHIN ON FIELD. There are many seniors who are in same category but I will come to see maybe the best bull ever finish his home career that alone should have all BULLS FANS AT RAY J! We are still gonna be in a bowl thank you Notre Dame for winning. And thats something we have never done.

  6. Im very upset/pissed/frustrated pick one and fill in blanks. But at the same time I agree with katie I wont miss the game or the bowl game because of this. We cant become fair weather fans. I will say this however if changes are not made and C4 isnt given a chance I may be leaning towards the darkside. But I am a BULL I bleed GREEN AND GOLD and I will still be behind the guys that wear it! except for PJ :)lol!

  7. WHY DO WE GOTTA RUSH TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE ON 3rd AND 1 FROM GOAL LINE. WE HAVE THE # 6 rusher IN NATION YDS/GM AVG. TAKE YOUR TIME AND GIVE IT TO WHAT GOT U THERE HALL. AND THEN KICK THE FG ON 4th and go down 2 pts! INSTEAD WE CALL A GIMMICK PLAY WITH COURTNEY DENSON OF ALL PEOPLE. THAT SERIES COST US GAME. YES WE PLAYED TERRIBLE MOST IF NOT WHOLE GAME BUT THAT COST US GAME!

  8. I just hope we take care of business at UConn. Then we better keep our Lbs Shadowing White all game that was big mistake what Pitt coaches did against wvu sets. To many people back and nobody shadowin the qb. He looks like a great talent but he really struggles with the deep ball always over firing it seemed. Should be great game but lets take care of the huskies first. Lets hope Hall is the one carrying the sleds in cold Connecticut tomorrow.
