I never call SFU... USF...
-
yeah they have a very tough way to go... No way I see them 10-2 like many pubs... just too many tough games.. without breaks..
-
When they first talked about the deal they said they needed a little over 20k to break even... with all the $$$$ they have raised they will be just fine.. bonds will finance the rest prob for 20 to 30 years.. should be under 1mil per year to cover the bond.

usf ave 38k
ucf ave 21k
bout right
cut the 38k in half and u have it pretty close....
cancel the UCF game every other year.. and u will end up with 15k in real #s.

30 years of football and you are competing with fiu, fau. and ju

If they are going bowling ... they better do great in conf... my guess is they go at best 1-4 occ
where did u get that schedule.. Rutgers rivals site has... buffalo, Nc, Navy, and Ill.

go to ucf rival site... stan has some just follow link.. and scroll down to aug 4. the 5 buildings (restrooms and concessions u see under stadium in pictures are going up... u can pick out many of the footings for the stand... in an oval shape around buildings as well.

I recruited my wife for a tight end ;D

GOL said 32-35K for this year. We'll see.  Iam sure that number was included in their financials and is a must amke number.  Besides, I am sure there are people buying tickets this year to be sure they can get into the facility next year...
in their financials... on the new stadium ... they said they needed an attendence of 23 to 24 thousand. last I heard we had 2500 new season tix holders over last year.. assuming just 2 tix per holder... we should be up near 15k.

How many dumb mistakes can this kid make?  >
I hate seeing these kids screw up ..... hope he wakes up and smells the coffee....

If it's anything like the Houston Bowl, CUSA is brought in on a 1 out of 4 year cycle.
acording to another article I read the CUSA comish... said cusa is guaranteed 2 spots in 4 years.. details are supposed to still being worked out.. my guess is BE will be guaranteed 3 ...same for big 12 which is unlikely to have a team for all 4 years...

Does anyone know where the UCF sudent sections are located?
Unless they have moved them... they have the area just the other side of the reds... on same side of field.
-
very cool... congrats.
-
U are lightyears away from the big 3... only a few miles from other 3.
-
They said no "heavyweights" which usually means no FSUs or Tennessees.
If we can get a nuetral Orlando game with them I'd be estatic...however, ND has looked down on non-traditional football programs in the past.
guess USF would still be in the mix though..
-
great sign...
-
Stetson prob has the best baseball team in the state outside of the big 3.

UCF is projecting operating expenses, just in game day expenses and utilities, insurance, people to run the stadium at 1.626 Million per year. Plus another 400K in maintenance reserves.
That's maintenance. Now they also have the debt service of over 5 million per year.
Makes that $720,000 look like a bargain.
If I remember correctly UCF was expecting to make money as long as we averaged 23k per game... Tex game will be a sell out... my guess is we average 30k plus the first year... which will build a reserve toward future years... UCF will do just fine. We get all concession $$$ all parking $$$$ all tix sales $$$$ We didnt get that renting CB bowl... just like u dont when renting Buc bowl.

Put it in the book right now, USF beats Pitt in an offensive shoot out on homecoming. Of course I may be am still drunk from the Cinco De Mayo party I had last night.
cinco de mayo... yeah baby... leave it to mexico to get excited about beating the french... americans just take that for granted...

You can't use this years draft to say there isn't much talent.  UCF had a TOTAL of 6 seniors - 5 of which started.  That's it.  not bad considering 4 of them just signed with NFL teams (1 Drafted, 3 FA).  66% of UCF's seniors or 80% of our senior starters aron NFL teams.  that isn't bad.  Where does USF stand?
in a cow pasture..???
-
no word yet... john gabriel old ad for Magic is one with app in though.
-
UCF would have accepted a bid before.. Now?? I dont know... It prob would depend on where rest of the sports would have to go... now We are out of asun... i dont see us wanting to go back. buffalo is the best option.
-
the way it was said... I dont think its a lock yet... but pretty far along ..
