USF comes in #71 based on opponents 2022 records... With 1 team that finished ranked last season and only 6 of 12 that had a winning record last year.

I will be interesting to see how Phil Steele thinks USF will do this season. One of the more well-inform pundits out there.

71st toughest?  I'm calling BS on that one, USF is the worst team in college football, that means we have the hardest time winning games, there for USF's schedule should be the hardest no matter who they play.

Nope, it’s one persons vision of embracing and driving failure, eventually their reign of terror will come to an end and someone with visions of success, growth and disruption will come in and things can change as they have at other places in worse shape that had people not afraid to disrupt the Apple carts come in. VPMK craves stability and driving the ncaa machine he has been a cog in, a status quo usf is a failed usf we need revolution and VPMK is just not that person. Ransom Stoddard is a perfectly fine leader but only after a person like Tom Doniphon revolutionizes the dynamic of the town, we aren’t at the point where we need stability, we need to run away from it.

I’m afraid Judy’s swamp at USF is just too deep.

If he is truly a lot like Leavitt then he would start work at USF ASAP. He would camp out in the athletics building. He will be hard core on defense. If not then that is a slap to the face to Coach Leavitt.

There are certain signs that must come to pass if we are to determine if the new coach has the spirit of Leavittism upon him.

A lot of people in this forum are Bulls Football Originalists and need to realize that what you care about isn't what the common fan cares about. Hiring a former Bull doesn't bring any excitement, outside of the Originalists, to anyone if the team doesn't win. We can hire the European football version of Ted Lasso and he'd be a great hire if he wins. When it comes down to it, who cares if he was ever on the Bulls team or associated with them in any way.

Blasphemy! CJL wrote the book on how to be successful at USF, the feelings of fair weather fans are the least of our concerns.
