  1. He truly is one of the founders of the Bull Football Nation.  I still remember early road trips that we would get together (Ga Southern,Troy, NC STATE, Bowl games, Bama), he would always be taking the pictures and cheering on the BULLS.  He is the epitome of Perseverance from a Bull Football fan.  Miss our tailgates my friend, perhaps there is a game in the future we do a Road Trip Reunion!

  2. My new reality to get through the 2019 season.....

    Home games:

Plan a fantastic tailgate at least 3-4 hours long.

Plan on watching half the game (Staying till half time allows for sobering up).  If by chance we are still in the game it is a win.

Do not look at the USF sidelines during the game.  Trying to find emotion by coaches is harder to find then Waldo at Woodstock.

    Away games:

Tune in two minutes prior to kick off, the pregame hype will excite you or depress you, either way you will be let down.

Plan to have company over, have a secondary event planned during the game.

    Drink, Drink, and Drink.

    The Future:

Attend more men and women basketball, soccer, softball, and baseball games.

Read more articles about the academic successes at USF.

  3. Blake is the reason we won a few games that we should not have last year.  Unfortunately for Blake, Gilbert left (THANK GOD), the staff, I believe gave Blake a chance based on last year and loyalty.  I think he deserved the Wisky game and half the GT game.  I think this was the plan all along... Get to the bye week, put in new wrinkles, and begin conference play.  Yes, a splash win would have been great, however the competing for conference championships is all that matters.  As unimpressed as I have been with Bell's system thus far, I believe that the best is yet to come..

Interesting side of this is..now we have CCS, KB and SK bringing in recruits. Along with the D coaches all getting more established in the State. FL-GA should be fertile. It takes just getting the right coaching core and getting them to stay. I'm sure the Fire CCS right off the bat doesn't help. He(they all) know how the fans feel about the losing streak. No, CCS didn't have the right O coach when he got here. I believe he does now. The rest of the season should be interesting hopefully, the pieces are coming together. 8-4 would be great. 7-5 would be a success. 6-6 ?? after last year?

The bottom line, the offensive coordinator improvement should continue to get better, the Defense is much better- they are not missing as many tackles and seem to have more passion, still not big special teams fan..  Would like to see SK get more roles in this rebuild..  Patience at this time is key, hopefully 7-5 can happen..

And that’s sort of my point. Where do we go if we fire CCS after going 5-3 down the stretch and what does that say?

If we go to a bowl game, and go 5-3 down the stretch, CCS keeps his job.  Plain and simple, if we fire him then we lose many of the recruits, then we set ourselves up for more rebuilding and losses.  Sub .500 record?  That is another story..

Would agree with but I believe Strong likes it here. Think he just brought a new house near Bayshore Blvd. The best case would be that Strong starts winning to the point where he is ready to retire here. At that time hopefully he would have a replacement to take over the reigns kind of like what happened at UCF with O’Leary

I concur about Strong wanting to be here.

  8. Firing the coach is not the answer, yet.  I am quite pleased with the Defensive transformation.  If the offense gets turned around and in a few weeks we are 3-2 playing BYU, then I believe we will be where most thought we would be going into BYU game.  Perhaps this is the year we get on a roll and put a streak together, as we continue to get stronger each week.  GO BULLS!
