  1. it could mean that there are enough voting members to approve expansion with enough teams to counter any FSU/Clemson efforts to garner enough votes to support breaking the GoR
  2. There are 70 million people in CA and TX. That's what matters here. Let's say there's 15 million cable subscriptions between the two. If the ACC's in-market subscription fees increase $1.25 per month, you're looking at significant increase in new revenue per year. this guy is a little more credible.........

  4. The only prayer of a new super conference attaining autonomous status would be a total nogo without Stanford and Cal. And even then it is not a carry over self proclaimed status......the remaining autonomous conferences would have to approve it............far from a slam dunk
  5. didn't the Mountain West teams already emphatically state they were not interested in a new G5 super conference?
  6. ESPN could easily pony up 1/2 shares for Stanford and Cal to secure the late night time slot they will be losing next year. SMU has reportedly offered up zero shares for 5 years! The carriage fees brought in by the ACC network from the Cali and Texas markets could easily boost the media distribution for all.......follow the money

If the 2 biggest teams in terms of viewership can actually break the GoR which has explicit language tied to the ESPN media contract, it would be crazy for ESPN to NOT renegotiate the terms of the contract. The P3 have never denied the possibility of future expansion and all will go to 20 teams......... FSU, Clemson, NC, GT go to the SEC Duke, UVA to the Big 10 Pitt, VA Tech, UM, Louisville to the B12 the ACC will be gutted and relegated to G7. P3 is a new reality that is coming, just a question of when........
  8. If FSU, Miami and Clemson figure a way out of the ACC GoR the conference will be gutted of any teams with any value by the B10, SEC, and B12.............and then there were 3
