Bottom line, Saturday's game is going to dictate how the season goes.  If we can't beat a team that is ranked 55 by CBS Sports, then it won't matter how many games we win against teams currently ranked above 100.  Our SOS will not allow us to recover from a loss to a middle of the road P5 team.

If we beat Tech, we are likely a legit team and should run the table until UCF.  The rankings will follow.  With a Boise State loss, we will control our own destiny of a conference championship and a NYD bowl game.

Maryland beat a ranked team and is only getting 12 votes.  We will need much more than beating Georgia Tech, which is also not receiving votes in the AP (and only 1 for the Coach's Poll)

I'm from Long Island.  LI people typically recognize Long Island and NYC.  Everything else is likely farm land!

For those of us outside of Florida, it's a no win situation.  As others have said, people do not identify "South Florida" on a shirt as being a university, nor do they know what USF is or stands for.  Either option requires a conversation, then an elaborate explanation why I went to school there!
