Then the rule is wrong.
As soon as the ball crosses the line, a TD is scored, and the play is OVER. Full stop. Points stand. Regardless of what follows.
If anything happens after the play, they cannot go back and change the results of the previous play. EVERY other penalty in football is like this. This rule must die!
But the flag was thrown before the TD. The guy dance stepped on the 15 yard like or whatever it was. So technically it was blown dead right there.

Get out of here with that bull.

Just talked a random UCF fan in ATL. We were just talking about how hyped we were for the showcase of the teams.
Hope you threw sand in there eye. Or a smoothie. CFU trash.

Does anyone really think we have kept the playbook “vanilla” on purpose thru 7 games?
-
Does the QF run on second down count as the first play from scrimmage for this poll if the first down pass was incomplete?

UCFs student section is now in both endzones. I'm surprised they didn't build a wall between the new side and the visiting fan section to be honest
They should have. I just hope ur fans treat us with respect when we come over there, like we do with our visiting fans.

Can't really blame them.
They have played a tougher schedule and we will have to win @UCF.
If Maryland upsets (#5) Wisconsin tomorrow, that will improve the chances for UCF to make the playoffs.
UCiF hasn’t played anyone better then us. Maryland is the same as Illinois, FIU got beat by Tulane, Memphis is overrated, and Cinci was held to way less points.
we r ranked higher because most of the country sees that we r better

That is some made up number. They also had UCF at 72% to beat Navy, but 75% to beat SMU. SMU is a better team than Navy?
Also said UCF is looking for their first 6-0 start?
Unless your are Alabama, Ohio State or their flavor of the month ESPN's information is usually biased and BS.
The lower percentage would indicate a tougher team. Unless you are saying SMU is better then Navy. Than ur crazy

How did we go from being the tightest ship, to screen grabs of unfinished documents?
We've probably never been a "tight ship", but instead just late to the game.... These documents are just now being prepared?? Hell, if it is a draft, it's not even finished??

I hope our invite does not come too soon. Only 109 pages left to 1K.

I think people know UCF more just because of the BCS bowl and somehow forget they went 0-12 last year. Shows you what one season can do even when head to head record goes to us. The Skip Holtz years really hurt. USF's endowment is almost triple, it's ranked higher in academics by services like U.S. News and Forbes, is ranked higher in research and patents (2 metrics away from preeminent status), has a higher ranked medical school and is in a larger TV market. If you write about these things for a living it's just laziness not to be aware. I just saw this the other day about our medical school.
Now all we have to do is get football back to where it was and higher. This isn't to put UCF down because they have a bright future too. It's just to point out the sloppiness of a lot of sports writers, as well as the ignorance of some fans.
A BCS bowl win is as good as it gets for the non-power schools, though AAC was technically a power conference its first year... I would not compare med schools either since they just opened. No comparison. Ours is awesome because we have had it open since the 70's and really focused on it.
What we need is a law school. Get some more politicians in the state government, more lawyers to sue the NCAA.

I see a lot of reasons listed for other candidates like Cincy, Houston, UConn, Memphis, BYU, CSU, but I think we check all of the boxes:
- Great attendance when we were not piss poor (thanks Skip).
- Huge Market
- One of the most fertile recruiting grounds in the nation
- Play in a top notch stadium that is hosting the NCAA's. Unlike that puke enducing bleacher set at that other school
- Excellant Academics
- We have shown that we can play at high levels, Second round NCAAM a couple of years ago, #2 in BCS in 2007.

The AAC contract is not worth much, not like the BE's before the whole system broke up. We can sign a grant of rights, but breaking it will cost even less than it did for WVU, Louisville etc given the same advance notice to the league. The value of the lost rights from a member school leaving could not be more than it was back then because the media contract value dropped substantially.
My point being that the GOR is a non-factor. It will not rush B12 decision making.

The Big 12 committee visited UConn last week and UCF yesterday as part of the vetting process. Any word on them visiting USF? I ask as I don't recall if we had been visited in the past.
I have read reports that dispute these claims. To many reports are out there and it seems like most are fakes.

Ive been reading the bored here for a couple of years and would love to see us get into the Big 12. With the recruits around here and our facilities, i think we could go to playoffs within a few years of joining. The bs power conference system couldnt keep us out at that point.
