PROVIDENCE, R.I., JUNE 8, 2017 – The American Athletic Conference announced its men's basketball conference pairings for the upcoming 2017-18 season on Thursday afternoon.
With the addition of Wichita State to the league, each team in The American will play seven of its 11 opponents twice, and the other four opponents once each – two at home and two away.
USF will play single game match-ups at home against conference runner-up Cincinnati and Temple. The Bulls will also clash with UConn and Wichita State, a perennial top 25 team, both on the road.
In 2017-18, USF will host UCF, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, SMU, Tulane and Tulsa and also visit those schools as well.
This will be the Bulls' first season under the direction of head coach Brian Gregory. The USF coaching staff has rebuilt the team's roster with nine new signees, including three graduate transfers. Learn more about USF's 2017 signing class HERE.
