I agree that Harlan brought in the coordinators to call the offense and defense while taggart makes personnel decisions and recruits only. Its a lot cheaper than firing him

I expected him to be fired this year after finishing with a blowout loss to houston, beating the worst team in college football by a miracle one, and getting shut out by our rival. But we probably just didnt want to buy out his contract yet. Plus i guess im also a believer in getting at least 3 years first. Like i said before, i expect 5 wins vs fla am, uconn, smu, syracuse, and maybe get one more between east carolina, ucf, and maryland. If he can top that, good on him and ill stop the hate

I don't recall their physical statures exactly, but I'm pretty sure that Davis has the size they both lacked. Small receivers can make it as a slot receiver, but fewer of those spots exist. Freakshow has the physical tools, if he can keep his head on straight and work hard. Mitchell arguably had the best physical stature of any receiver we've ever had. Tall. Fast. Long. Just couldn't put it all together in NFL. Mitchell was okay, but I'd agree with Shadow, 'dre has more natural skills to go with the size. They don't call him freakshow for nothing. Even AJ Love was better. Watch the highlights of our past teams. The size and speed was so much better. Davis just happend to be our only option so he looked really good. I have a really good feeling Rodney Adams is going to be the man if used correctly this year

Its data that clearly shows the AAC is not better than the other mid majors. Tulane was a terrible add from the start. I think Aresco should have gone for Northern Illinois or Marshall but hindsight is 20/20. USF and UConn have contributed to our conference's fall too

Im expecting 5 wins, but praying for 6. If we had Mike White and a decent coach i would say 7

I think when the AAC started this whole conference, it was widely considered head and shoulders above the mid majors. I knew out of conference we played poorly, but THIS poor? We are in trouble... we picked the wrong teams
