So we are getting paid to play Texas? Jeez. It is what it is, I suppose.

We're getting paid TWICE to play them, and we're paying them ONCE to play us.

They will sell far more tickets at RJS once than we will sell in Austin twice.

Looks like we get the long end of the stick...

It's a 2 for 1, something that this board turned its nose up at not that long ago. I assume it is your contention that a large contingent of Longhorn fans in RJS is a good thing as well? I cannot look at this as a "long end of the stick". Like I said, it is what it is. Glad we have a marquee opponent and just hope the program is back to the point where we can put a beatdown on them.

"....just hope the program is back to the point where we can put a beatdown on them..." (lol).  I don't watch USF football nor do I keep up with USF football.  Question:  Has USF ever put a beatdown on anyone?

    I fed the troll...

  2. Ill be taking USF. Tulsa is bad bad bad.... We will win by 14+

QUICK HENRY, GET THE JINX REPELLANT  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this makes me nervous. you could make a fortune fading this guy's bets. South Florida 4-2 ATS this year.

Im up $1276 so far this year on my sports betting. Started with 100, already cased out 1000 and have $276 left.

That does not include the $250 I am up in fanduel.

Do you have a local bookie or online book?

  4. Soccer is a very defensive sport. I appreciate that aspect of it very much. One of the things I hate about that schumck Roger Goodell is how during his tenure as commissioner, the NFL doesn't play defense anymore.

If you google the highest paid athletes, you'll see a lot of soccer players on that list. It's not everyone's cup of tea and that's fine. I personally cannot watch a complete baseball or basketball game. Still would support the Bulls teams in spirit if not in person.

  5. If any of you are ever driving up to the NC mountains, you go through Buford, GA on I-985 before it turns into US Hwy 23. On the GA 20 exit there is a place called Havana South that makes a FANTASTIC medianoche.

Still give props to JTrue for getting me to try the softer bread.

Havana South does it and does it and does it well.

I love the egg bread with a medianoche. It's a subtle difference, but oh so delicious.
Another fave is La Teresita for a delicious Cuban and Medianoche...right by RJS too.
  6. Longtime lurker. Season ticket holder since 2002. Sec 107 - Sundolls for the 1st and 4th quarters, right next to the students and right across from the band. Tailgate in Lot 6.

First post is not gonna impress many folks. I do not like Publix subs. I don't find their bread that great. The veggies always seem to be extra wet, which by the time I get to then end of my sandwich...it's soggy. I'm aware that with this 1st post, I risk it being my last. But I have to speak up for the silent minority.
