Hell no. All losses are terrible. There are no palatable losses, but losses are teachable moments.

And although this may sound like cognitive dissonance.

We are a young team still learning the ropes in a program that needs to reestablish a winning environment. Don't lose perspective. We are not an SEC or ACC team in contention for anything. We are in the misfit conference with teams that need to prove they belong and no one expects perfection out of these teams. Let's be real with ourselves.

Our two wins were against punchless crap teams

Most of our conference is "punchless crap" teams, so we should be good. Go bulls!

I don't get all the detractors on here. It's like we are viewing completely different things. I agree with you guys. White has looked pretty good out there. We just need consistent play from our receivers.

When do the fire CWT threads began today? I know they are coming.... Our fans can be the biggest assclowns sometimes.

I love this thread. The blind optimism is a thing of beauty. My logic tells me that if they put up less than 40 on us it will be a good showing, but the boozes in my fridge are definitely calling for a W today. (Also, the boozes have assured me that if they are wrong I won't remember anyway.)

Ucif, Tulsa, Houston, and SMU. Memphis could be a wildcard. Cincy and ECU are likely going to be the two most difficult conference games. Thank god we don't play Temple! On flipside Tulane would've have been nice for the w column (and perhaps a road trip).

I just think that outside of the NC State curb-stomping we are doing ok this year. We are not UF, Ohio State, or any of those programs that are redshirting recruits. We are playing the best players we have. I understand the frustration. We all want the team to be the best, but lets not lose perspective on where we are. This is a demo and rebuild job. It's not what we want to hear, but the facts don't lie. Since Bj went down we have been avoiding the harsh reality of what was in front of us.

Those corn feed boys on their line are pretty big.

Will speed be enough? Can we clone Todd Chandler? Can we teach Byrd how to wrap up?

I know we will get a couple more W's this season. The reality is that no one in our conference is that great. Right now we are super erratic with flashes of could be really good. I believe that the teams base level of play is slowly rebounding from soft/supersuck. At least the mentality of team is to get mad when they get embarrassed now.

In other news. Anyone know where I can find Catbert with a USF shirt/jersey on?
