IT seems scott is hitting Clemson areas (NC,SC,GA,TN) hard to recruit and Clemson players who couldn't cut it there. It may workout for now, but we got to build some Florida Pipeline connections for lasting success.
Would be nice to see some Broward/Dade/Palm Beach talent

Ajou Ajou would be be an excellent addition if we got him. We need big targets in the redzone.

Only on TBP…he signed with us? Oh, he is the best player ever. He did not sign with us? Well he sucked anyway…
That's basically every message board, tbh.

I think we may end up with Jae'vien "Joker" Gill..JC DE that committed to Mizzou then learned they didn't have enough room for him. Was committed for 12 days before re-opening his recruitment.
Also I think we get James Gordon IV. LB from Minnesota and originally from Plant City.
Both would be very welcomed additions

Looks like a big 10 linebacker may be coming home
I hope so.

I’m wondering if Diaz stays at Miami if cristobal turns down their offer. Since he has not been fired and has been basically told if we can replace u your out, why would he go back to a place that basically stabbed him in the back
Tyler Van Dyke. That's why. Without TVD, he would have been gone mid season.

No way he's stepping down to G5. Wishful thinking...
Hes a more established HC than Scott so this is def wishful thinking.

WE can keep bringing in receivers, but until we get a better oline the passing game will suffer. Weaver, NC Transfer, Horn, and any others are added solid but we need Oline to buy whatever QB we have time to throw.
While true, the WR's that we have are fairly small. It would be nice to have a big possession type WR that can pick up first downs and help in the redzone. Ladson is 6'3 205 and towers over all the WR's mentioned.
-
Frank Ladson, a highly ranked 2019 Clemson WR recruit, just hit the portal. Jeff Scott personally recruited him. I wonder if there is any interest there?

And someone calls good plays to compliment his skillset.
Would be nice to get him to bulk up a bit so we can call more designed runs. He has wheels, but seems to get hit more than I'd prefer.

SMU promoted the OC to HC yesterday instead of Leavitt who has HC experience. Maybe he is looking to jump ship.
SMU hired their former OC, who most recently was the OC at Miami.

A major thing I noticed doing this is how bad we were at the interior DL position last year. Our DT's really should have been depth pieces at this level of football, not on the field for every snap. Hopefully with Pinder, Ash, and Bags we can actually have some difference makers there
It'll be nice to have DT's at or above 300lbs next season.

how is the coaches fault when he doesnt realize play clock is winding down
in high school he got by a pure ability but incollege you need to get the mental part of the game down. he needs alot of improvement.
running backwards really has me crazy.he needs the coach to tell him not to run backwards?
an old lawyer once told the young mazza this,"son you may have all the talent in the world but it is how you handle pressure that will determine how successful you are"
If the playclock is at 1 cause you call an audible from the sideline with 11 seconds on the playclock, why not help your young QB out by calling a timeout when you have 3 of them?
Run backwards? Isn't BJ Daniels his QB coach? He ran backwards like that his entire career here.
-
I feel a lot of those mistakes reflect the lousy coaching he gets from the staff. They don't seem to help him much, IMO.

If the DC couldn't figure that out till 2nd half he needs to go.
If he is back we are looking at a 3 or 4 win season.
And a new head coach after the season

Love Jennings. He always comes and slaps high fives with the fans after the game. Thanks us. He's a great dude. Hope he's okay
That's one my fave things as my kids really enjoy it. Jennings, Antonio Grier, Brian Norris, Mitch Brinkmann and a few others have gone out of their way this year to interact with the kids this season and it's awesome. My 4 year old recently brought a pair of gloves he got from Brinkmann to show and tell at his preschool.

I am going to be very disappointed if he is back in 2022. Nothing will change on defense if he is, the scheme is absolutely terrible.
This. His lack of adjustments are very frustrating. I don't want him here in 2022 either.

I feel somewhat better, but only cause it seems we have more talent on offense. If Glenn Spencer is canned and we get a competent DC, I'll feel much better. I'm still not a huge Jeff Scott fan, but the games I've been to are at least entertaining unlike previous years.
-
Grier and Boyles are both very solid LB's. If we had anything at all on DL, it would help them quite a bit. We need as much game ready transfer talent at DL as possible.

McC has taken a lot of hits this season, He was getting up slower and slower. I wondered if this would happen eventually this season and who the backup might be since we hadn't until last week, seen anyone get any time. If he isn't a go then you have to hope our O line performs like they did last game and Marsh or Fortin can get something going early on. ECU isn't Temple, I think they are a better team.
He takes a lot of unnecessary shots. I hope he learns to get out of harms way as his career progresses.
