Pretty good pick up. Far from a home run but not bad. He was their 4th leading rusher last year with a 190 yards on the season. Did have a better season the year before with 326 yards rushing yards.( per espn stats). Also decent stats catching the ball.

At least this transfer portal player had some decent stats; which cant be said for the majority of the other transfer portal players we have picked up.

Need another quality WR, a few OL, and a lot of defensive players to be added.

He was in a similar situation to Cronkite when he transferred here. Would be happy with similar production.

  2. We previously hired and ultimately fired a first time head coach. All of these kids transferring have seen the growing pains that come along with that. Instead of hiring a competent and experienced head coach like Tom Herman, MK hired another coach who has never been a head coach at any level previously. It shouldn't be surprising that kids players are bailing.

You guys think players don't read these blogs but they do. Brett Kean's mother had a secret acct on this page. She inboxed me thanking me for the support of her son before he transferred out. Battie and Grier both have accts to the bullpen. Hell Grier came on this board and posted before. If I am a player trying to decide on what school to go to, the toxicity of the fans for that team will be "one" of the factors I put into play. I don't want to play for a team that has toxic a$$ fanbase. Hell before I worked for my current company, I had to decide b/w 2 offers. I turned down more money from one company b/c the glassdoor reviews were so positive for my current company compared the the company that paid more. Since then i've gotten a raise that put me at a higher salary than the other company, I work from home 100% and I'm happy where I'm at.

This board is for entertainment and the majority of the content written on here isnt meant to be taken seriously. Lighten up.

Yes, this is what potential recruits need to see. How our USF fans are fake as hell and will **** on you the minute you transfer. I hope they get to see how bitter we can be.

Welcome to a college football fan message board. Transfer to your rival school and you should expect nothing less. You thinking those kids care about what fans think anyway is hilarious.

players/coaches play against teams they are a fan of all the time. This isn't uncommon at all.

One of Texas's greatest coaches (the guy they named their stadium after) played for Oklahoma.

Bo Schembechler was born in raised in Ohio, played in Ohio, got a degree from Ohio State. Then went on to be one of Michigan's greatest coaches.

This. Manny Diaz was an fsu grad that was the HC at Miami recently.

I believe Scott came in with the belief that this was a long term rebuild. Perception is reality.

That gives you the mindset that you shouldn't expect to win early on.

Then he had covid and then this year he talked about injuries holding us back and that was in like week 3.

we had way too much talent on this roster to not get a single FBS win. Even last year he would find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Scott seemed to panic when the game was on the line.

Good coaches will find a way to win.

He was a loser coach from the jump. He coached us out of wins.

didn't say we couldn't afford him. Glad we didn't overpay for him.

sorry but coaches aren't all that special. a complete newcomer like Dionne came in and won with his paid players.

Recruiting is all that matters. I can't count the number of times I've heard that the only reason Taggart had any success was because he had Flowers and mack etc.

What a loser post. I'm done interacting with you goodbye.

We don't know how much Herman wanted. He has no connections to this state.

I'm glad we didn't overpay for a retread. Use the savings on paying players. that's what will matter in the future for college football. Coaches don't win games. Players do.

FAU can afford Herman and we can't!? WTF are you talking about!?

You keep mentioning money like I'm supposed to care about the money spent on a coach. Paying for players only works if you have a team and a coach worth a ****.

Of course it's always the head coach that installs whatever schemes he wants to run. Sorry but heupel wasn't coming here. Jeff Scott was a co cordinator that didn't call plays. This guy is their only OC who according to the  Tenn website has called plays since his last year at UCF

Who cares if he calls plays if he isn't experienced enough to hire a competent support staff!? We hired arguably the least experienced and least qualified candidate out there. To turn away a guy like Tom Herman for this is insanity.

read his bio. he literally took a 4th string QB from Va Tech and turned him into the #2 QB in the country. Don't overpay your coach. Save the money for recruiting players. I think it's a genius move. Definitely won't be a popular move but very well could be a shrewd move.from TENN website

In the last two years combined as a playcaller, including his year at UCF, Golesh’s offense is averaging a nation-best 3.06 plays per minute and 1.53 points per minute, which is third in the FBS during that span. Both of his years as an offensive coordinator have seen Golesh’s offenses finish in the FBS top 10 in scoring offense and total offense.

Follow @CoachGolesh updated May 2022 Alex Golesh made an immediate impact as Tennessee’s offensive

Everyone and their mom knows thats Heupel's offense, not his. Dude is Jeff Scott 2.0.

It feels like USF isn't even trying anymore. I'm inching closer to the "fold the whole program" camp. We're not even being given a chance here. How many players will portal out now? How many recruits can this guy possibly get? I'm totally, completely confused. It's almost like VPMK was sent to USF to fold the program.

I've been a 10 year season ticket holder and I'm making the call Monday to cancel my 4 season tix. I can no longer justify wasting the time and money going.

I quit, this is utterly disgusting!! Am I in the twilight zone right now. So we went from Deion, CJL, Jamey Chadwell, Tom Herman and Dan Mullen; to a guy who was a TE coach for the past 5 years with one year as OC? This is the most pathetic hire I could have imagined. Words cannot explain. How on earth are we supposed to have instant success with ANOTHER non experienced coach, an OC for that matter when our defense that was pathetic!?!? Honestly, how can anyone with a sound mind do this?

This is the program's death blow.
