Two things one he probably didn’t get a very favorable draft prognosis and two what’s happening inside the  locker room  isn’t as bad as everybody is making it out to be.

 They showed a lot of grit.  Very encouraged with this team. This is the first conference game where free-throw shooting cost them. They realistically could be undefeated with better free throw shooting. However it is what it is.  However I have to say the progress this team has made in just two short years is incredible.

I agree 100% Mike Kelly is the real deal. USF will improve under his watch & I have confidence he will not stand for same old same old. 

USF seemed light years ahead of UCF just a few years ago in reality they weren’t. Same holds true for UCF today.

 How Can you be this bad at shooting foul shots. I don’t know how CG fixes it but he has to.if this team can just increase their Free throw % to upper 60s they’ll win eight or nine more games and make it to the NIT.  This team is better in every other aspect. 

 Besides the glaring challenges in the offensive philosophy. This team was often not prepared to compete By this coaching staff. 

 You can be young and still be physical you can be inexperienced but  be taught good tackling technique. As I watched the game unfold last night I would bet there was at least 200 yards gained after broken and missed tackles. 

 God bless # 24 on defence he looks like he tries very hard but really after 12 games  he  hasn’t been coached up on how to break down on the edge and force the runner either inside to the pursuit or contain them on the outside. there’s at least 10 Plays I remember where he made the same mistake. 

 This coaching staff needs to understand ATTITUDE REFECTS LEADERSHIP!

This is 100% coaching this is the 13th game of the year and they still have not taught  to anybody to tackle.  Either this team quit which is likely the case or they’re just so poorly coached they don’t have a chance. 

 It is very clear that  this team has been outcoached all year their talent level is not this bad 

 Coaching staff and the players need to be embarrassed this is a disgraceful performance at this point.  How AD can think that’s strong is the answer is beyond me after tonight‘s performance.

 Wow I have never seen a more negative thread since I’ve been following this blog.  

 In the last two games at home USF has allowed her opponents to shoot over 45% from the field. In Their previous games  they kept the appointment field gold percentage in the 30s. Just goes to show the lack of effort they put in and the last two games 

 As bad as they looked last night I think this team is light years better than last year. If their foul shooting was even slightly better they beat Georgetown.  They’re  effort in the last two games were significantly below what we saw in the Bahamas.

It is not encouraging however that their starting point guard can’t shoot free  throws. If we’re going to be in a lot of close games as Coach Gregory says we will be,  it will not bode well if they don’t get better from the line.

 Agreed he can’t shoot from three intros lazy passes. I also have never seen a good point guard who can’t shoot free throws 

 How’s this team looked lackadaisical and they’re not good enough to do that they need to bring their best game every night to be competitive even against bad teams.

 They clearly had more talent and athletic ability than Stetson they just Played an uninspired basketball game!

Useing exceptions to try and make a point makes little sense. 

Not recognizing the importance of coaching especially at the early stages of an athletes career is a mistake. 

It was clear that USF did not improve on offense and in fact performed worse during the season. Well coached teams get better as the season progresses. 

Preperation, execution, technique, game planning and confidence are a coaching staffs job & IMO certain members of this staff let their players down. 

 It’s not a mistake that every great player in every sport has a personal trainer and coach no matter what level they playi at.

That press conference was disgraceful CCS needs to be f###ing fired. what Coach talks like that about his team. Responsibility falls on the coach’s Shoulders.

 if USF has a long way to go to catch UCF is because USF has digressed under CCS leadership. Two years ago we blew their socks off.

 It appears this team gave up after CCS  showed no confidence in them when he did not go forward on fourth down in the fourth quarter.what the hell was he thinking about. Also three timeouts and you sit on the ball at the end of the half. You might think USF was the favorite. 

OC needs to be fired before the bowl game. If not I think that they should also fire the head coach. It was so clear today that UCF  was much better coached than US F.  USF Has as much talent as UCF did without  Mackenzie just plain sad offense and coaching. 

No. but it would nice to see some rub routs or a screens or a draw, maybe throw it to your backs on a check down or in the flat. anything other than 5 to 7 yd dig routs, full back off tackle and fly routs. 

Orlovsky is spot on. It’s the reason Gilbert needs to be replaced, QF covered up alot last year. It makes you wonder if CCS self evaluates his team. If he does and cannot see the offensive  predictability & deficiencies he should be replaced.

 Maybe a miracle will happen and Friday if he will have somebody else calling the offensive plays, but not likely.

As much as I am rooting for  USF to win. I have a hard time visualizing that happening as long as their quarterback is healthy and playing.

 He is Quinton flowers with a better coaching staff and offensive scheme.

 This team is in light years better than last year. However they need to fix they’re free throw shooting it cost them today and nearly cost them in the second game of the year. 

 I believe the quarterback is better than adequate. The problem is the offensive coordinator does nothing to help him. The play calling is terrible & consistently puts him in bad situations. Again no draws,screens or checdowns. The play action fake is terrible (bad coaching). No throws over the middle no rub routes.5 to 7 yard curls on every 2nd & 3rd and long doesn’t cut it. When they started playing teams with equal or almost equal talent the big plays stopped and they could not sustain any drives.

coaching never adjusted as evidenced by a decrease in the team performance as the year progressed. Clear sign of a bad coaching job 

 The players should sue the coaching staff for lack of support especially on the offensive side of the ball . That was one of the most disgraceful displays by the offensive coordinator especially in the second half. They had opportunities to win this game.  They started on the temple sides of the field in the second-half several times with no results.

 If you notice there is a pattern that as this season has gone along that USF gives up at the end of games.  I believe that says everything about their faith in the coaching staff. Temple was much better prepared by their coaching staff.

 This feels like USF during the Holtz era.Scary,  next week could be ugly.

I get the frustration, all you need to do is ask my wife what I’m like watching USF. But no matter how bad it gets i’m going to watch the game, yell at the coaches and believe that there’s a chance they can win.  Part of being a fan it’s living through good times and bad times. 

 A wise man once told me things are never as bad as they seem or as good as they seem.

Now I wish someone would ask CST why their offense dose not include screens, draws,rub routs or throws to running backs on check downs and in the flat. Why no throws over the middle especially on play action. Can anyone believe how bad the QB’s play action fakes are.

 When will the defense learn how to Stop the quarterback run  and not arm tackle. Number 24 has missed tackles then I can count.

Why is #3 still playing, his head is up his butt on 8 out of 10 plays.

Can’t wait till the next game!

#24 on D & #3 on offense should not play another down.

GILBERT IS THE WORST OC IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

IMAGINE IF USF CALLED A SCEEN PASS OR MAYBE A DRAW ON 2nd and long. 

Imagine if they threw to a running back in the flat. Imagine if they threw the ball over the middle on play action.

imagine if their 3rd down offense was not 5 to 7 yard curls. I could go on but I hope you get my drift

The most frustrating thing is they have alot of talent they just don’t have an offensive coordinator that has the ability to use it.

 Defensively their young & they tackle like crap. IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF THEY COULD CONTROL THE QB RUN.

CCS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THIS TEAMS discipline.

The coaching staff is responsible to prepare this team week to week and if you have a good coaching there will be improvement as the year goes along regardless of cercumstances. This team has not gotten better they have digressed on both sides of the ball.

Offensively the poor play calling and game planning has reminded a huge problem. Defensively they play with poor technique and continue to tackle poorly. It’s amazing they have not been coached up to stop the QB run. 

When teams continue to make the same mistakes over and over that’s on COACHING!!!
