  1. Jimmy John's whom purports that they make all subs to order, actually pre-makes all their subs. In fact, they put Mayonnaise on all there subs. I ordered a Turkey Melt from them with "SPICEY BROWN MUSTARD" and got the Mayo. I called them back and asked for the sub to be replaced or my money back. They sent me a new sub with "REGULAR MUSTARD" on it and thought that was good. I wiped the Mustard off right in front of the delivery driver and pressed my thumb into the bread. Mayonnaise came oozing out of it. I called the store and told them to give me my money back. I have not ordered from them since and never will. :wtf:

This was the store near 3rd street north and Central Avenue St. Petersburg. When I informed the store manager that some people have allergies to Mayonnaise (The Eggs it's made from) and could have medical issues, someone in the background laughed. I should have sued them.

  2. Perhaps we could create a "Worm Hole" or a "Singularity Loop" in front of the Marshal Center and have it's "destination" set as the entrance to the Trop. Then we could actually advertise the Trop as an OCS since one would have to be "On Campus" to get there.

When you rule out all that is improbable, anything else is possible.

I'll take "Star Trek" for 500 Alex.

Just need all 5 Power conferences to go to 14 teams.

Pac12 adds 2 teams: Boise State, BYU

B12 adds 4 teams: USF, UCF, UConn, Cincy

Notre Dame can stay Indy and continue to do what they do

That's nice wishful thinking but, neither Boise State or BYU will ever play a game in the PAC. BYU will be blocked by UTAH and any support they can garner while Boise states academics are just too low.

"The vote by the NCAA Division I Council passed 7-2. The Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference voted against it and the Pac-12 didn't vote."

    :huh::wacko::blink:

WTF???  A block surely would have meant a raid on the AAC.

Did Houston/Cinci/UConn force the rest of the league to vote against it?

Or did all teams, including USF/UCF think they were going to be chosen and wanted to roll the dice?

The representative for the AAC that voted was the UConn rep. Draw your own conclusions.

  5. I think realignment may pick up when the B1G's contract comes up in 2018. The part that gets me about what I've read is the "conference divided into Equal Divisions". They dropped the numerical count for that all together as well as dropping the 12 to 10 members total for a conference to have a championship game. My guess is that we will soon see "Pods". Four division conferences with 16 to 20 members. I believe this is where the P4 are headed. Although I could be wrong or just daydreaming again.

You left out this one ... "I'm leaning more that it was better for Coach Taggart to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt."

Not sure how anyone can misinterpret any of those comments ...

I've said it before, some here just don't want CWT as coach no matter what but the relative success he had last year has them scrambling for something to dog him about. This show was a nice filler until March, when the whining will commence after AW isn't proclaimed the season starter at the end of the first Spring practice ...

Yeah I left it off. I was just shocked he didn't see the blatant disrespect and demeaning tone in the posts. I think of it as a reading comprehension test. Many people fail because they try to use their own feelings and thoughts while interpreting what has been written instead of just quoting what was written.

I don't think a single person on this board thinks CWT embarrassed himself or USF.  I don't think a single person on this board wasn't proud to see CWT representing USF.  If you got ANY of those impressions from previous posts, I think you misinterpreted them.

Have you read the entire thread?

This is why I hope USF can continue to win in spite of him, rather than because of anything he does coaching wise to win games.

Those posts are degrading him for his participation. They may not have said they felt embarrassed but, they implied as much. I won't argue semantics. The fact is people were posting about his performance despite the fact it was his first such engagement and that he was chosen over many others whom many deem more qualified or worthy. My point is for them to shut up and look at the event in it's entirety. Look for the beneficial effects of this event as well as the negatives before casting any disparaging remarks.

I don't post here much as it appears to be a ***** session more so then a sports forum. This is my observation and nothing else. I decided to post as I'm not really a CWT supporter but, I thought he did fine all things considered.

  8. I wish you well and future success. I will however point out some short falls that I observed. Take my comments worth a grain of salt. They're just observations.

The best Rappers got noticed because they either did something different or they were strait from the hood and prisons. You're a white kid with a Combat theme. Either you served in the military or you'll get called on it. The Car was nice but, the meeting with you and your homey and those two wanna be Russian/Croatian Mobsters was just sad. They arrive and drop a brief case and then quietly watch as you walk up and take it without any exchange. WTF? Hint, give them an envelope with a copy of your CD in it. Let them pull the CD out and look at it. They can then nod at you as you drive off, as if it was a good deal. That's being cinematic and pushing the visual story along.

I's suggest playing some war clips in the background to emphasize the combat dialog. Use them sort of like flashbacks when you run the chorus.

Those are my suggestions. Good luck in the future.

P.S. A Blue Shirt!!!!!!!!!!!!  Unless you were in the Navy or Air Force, Blue is out. Blue isn't in the Army or Marines color wheel.

  9. Let me ask these questions.

1, How many G5 teams coaches where present?

2, How many coaches were present in all?

3, Was this event noteworthy and thus able to generate publicity for the schools of whom these participating coaches represent?

4, Did CWT embarrass himself or the University?

I'll just say this; CWT was offered a unique opportunity and he took it. Were there possible drawbacks, Yes. Did his performance embarrass the University, No. What he did do was get recognition and publicity for our University. He may not have lit it up but, he didn't come off as a ass or an wannabe know it all. He came off as humble and thoughtful. He came off as human.

I'm not the greatest CWT fan but, I will not throw stones at him for attempting to broaden his horizons and our Universities at the same time. I will give him credit for stepping outside of his comfort zone and giving it a shot. Well done CWT.

For those whom continue to doubt his abilities. There is always next year.

  10. I worry because of our extreme needs on the O-Line and QB. As posted above, another RB would be nice as well. I think we will have 2 CB's returning next year and that means we probably could sit with 3-4 CB's. I'd rather have a QB signed and have to find a CB then the opposite. We need a QB like the Lakers need to play Defense. :icon_drink:
