I'd take Elliot or Scott. Just no for Taggart from me.

Nope, today’s work seems to be mostly around fomenting opposition to whomever is selected.
Thata's PR101. If you can't make a good hire, make a contraversial one. Now if you hire someone who's both good and contraversial, that's a PR bonanza.

Different kind of seasoning. Seasoning is also done to cast iron.
Aye and tempered steel.

Urm I would take them but my daughter plays softball, so there's that.

Wait a minute. We want a young guy that has learned his craft from some of the best?
If memory serves he did not wash out at UF. Then got South Carolina into the upper echelon of the mighty SEC, then dominated the AAF. So he wants to teach his son the ropes of college football so that he has a CHANCE to be a HC... MAYBE at USF... and that's a problem how?
Exactly ^^^.

OMG!!!! I'm on my way.

I always knew that guy had a screw loose.

Yeah, the same Taggart who was the only coach to offer Q as a QB and I'm pretty sure it was Taggart's offense who allowed Mack to thrive and get him noticed by the NFL.
Just stop.
The same Taggart who tried for 2 and a half years to put a square peg through a round hole. You just stop.

If has another opportunity, it means we won.
EVERY next hire will leave for a program that can pay them more and in conference with a path to the playoff.
Everyone forgets that good old Tags was on the hot-seat to be fired until he struck gold with Q and that 1,000 yard + RB from the NFL, I forget what's his name. Sorry, no to Taggart.
-
No to Taggart he will leave for every opportunity. He has shown that to everyone. Sorry, hard pass.

I didn't think you were being sarcastic. I know alot of people really don't like JK. I get it, compared to the other dude we use to have (can't remember his name), he was on top of it.....JK is lazy.
Well, I don't dislike JK. I just think that he has some personal issues and has yet to decide if he wants to be a true reporter or just a peddler of innuendo.

I know this is going to open up a can of worms, but I reallly don't understand all the JK hate.
I really don't think he is against us. He is not a USF cheerleader, but is that really his job. I see him more as neutral.
I think he could do a little better job at breaking USF athletic news. He seems to be a little lazy at times. That type of criticism I get, but I don't think he is against us like BMM use to be.
You obviously don't do Sarcasm but, JK is lazy and could do better with his choice of writing style and headlines.

He said, return in some form. He didn't say HC. There is a huge difference.

No Briles please.
I am proud of USFs ethics. I don’t want to be an FSU or UCF where they have a culture of lie, cheat, and steal.
They never reported any involvement in the Baylor Crisis by Briles. His father was implicated as possibly knowing of some incidents but not the son.
Is USF so holly that they are willing to punish the sin for the sins of the father. I hope not.
In this "Me Too" era in which we live, many are reported guilty without any evidence. While some are truly guilty, lets not punish the innocent just so we don't miss one guilty person.
What was missing at Baylor was oversite, a lack of reporting and accountability. That would not happen at USF. Bring Briles in and let him know our standards and what is expected of him, his coaches and his players. If he still wants the job, offer it to him.
We all have to understand one thing. The only constant thing in life is "Change".

The good news is, FSU has a really passable bowl to avoid.

My take on the coaching search

True but, he wasn't the one calling the plays and putting his guys in optimal scoring position either.
