    On an unrelated note......

Back in my undergrad days, I recall we played intramural basketball in the old Sun Dome (they retracted the seating in the second level areas. Is that still possible after the enhancements.

      No!

and if so-- do students still use the area for intramurals at all?

Don’t know for sure, but isn’t that what the Rec Center is for?

This was way back in the late 1980s. Subsequent games I went to seemed like they were in the new building that housed the gym. Seems like forever since I was at that facility as well-- maybe for a volleyball game or two.

Volleyball is played in The Corral which is attached to the west side of the Ying-a-ling Center.

If I recall correctly, the ladies run of successful tourney appearances was preceded by a WNIT appearance in the championship game? Was it a win. I don't remember, but it was the last building block in their recent success.

Yes they won the 2009 WNIT,  but the last building block!  LOL.  BTW, what real success did they have in their NCAA Tourney appearances?

Call me old fashioned, but I prefer where I get my oil changed and where I buy my eggs to be 2 totally different establishments.  Costco is the exception to that rule, however.  They've cleverly figured out a way to put lipstick on a pig by charging an annual membership fee, which I gladly pay.  Generally keeps the shoeless hobos from farting on my broccoli in the produce aisle before I consume it.

I’ve never been in a Costco where they do oil changes.   As a Costco Business Exectutive Member, my membership never costs me a dime, infact it puts money in my pocket.

When I lived in Lakeland, aka Publixville, it was the best option. Obviously better than going to Walmart to get groceries. But I'm also smart enough to know/see through all the publix **** sucking that goes on in lakeland, and here on tbp.  To be honest, now that I'm gone I feel like a former Sea Org member of Scientology, that finally saw the light escaped downtown Clearwater. I'm just worried that Puc has become so outspoken that Publix is going to now declare him a "Supressive Person", and try to ruin his life. Unfortunately for them however, you can't kill what's already dead inside. It's like trying to kill a stripper... What's the point.

What is wrong with buying groceries at Walmart?

You'd be making an ass of yourself. My bloodlines run strong in the Bulls Women's Basketball program.

OK, with so much of your blood in the program, please tell us how Jose’s coaching changed/improved this year vs his previous 18 years?

All of the newer Publix have replaced registers with self serve kiosks. They still staff a lane or two here in the CLT area but are really forcing you to scan and bag yourself.

Obviously this goes against everything Publix brand represents, which is allegedly high customer service. Its why I could ignore paying $1.99 for a box of Kraft Mac n Cheese for the kids, when at Walmart it was $0.89. If I have to do all the work on top of the inflated prices? Piss off!

    All that work😱

All the work of actually cooking macaroni and real cheese from scratch! 👨🏻‍🍳

You have to keep in mind that we basically had an assembly line of talent going. Jose has a tendency of playing  his top 7 all game every game, so the younger girls sat and learned how to play the game in America the first year with very limited minutes plus getting their conditioning up to play here. Kit and Laura also had the benefit of playing alongside Courtney Williams and Alisia Jenkins, which made their job easier as they were given specific responsibilities and not asked to do everything.

Have you  ever looked at the percentages of Jose’s foreign players who have missed entire seasons unable to play because of injuries? Right now,  there’s a player sitting on the bench for the second straight year without playing in a single game for the green and gold, because of injuries incurred playing for her national team.  This is nothing new.

I've never learn more about a coach and watched them develop as much as Jose Fernandez has this season. He'll look back on the season and not remember the pains as much, because it's where he learned to coach like a champion.

Our ladies should not be anywhere close in these games. Yet they show up every night adjusted as well as you could expect, and have even pulled some these games out.  That level of detail will serve this program well going forward.

Would I be correct in assuming that you haven’t been watching USF WBB very long?
