BYU is having their alumni tailgate on Saturday from 11-2 at Water Works Park near Armature.  Looks like a big event.  I imagine they always hold their pre-game events away from the opponent's stadium so they are kept away from alcolhol and protesters.

    GO BULLS!

    Ulele is only steps away.🥃🥃🥃🥃🍾🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂🥂😋

That’s a fact, however, UA has a long history of being a size or even a size and a half to small.

Are you aware that UA has 3 series of fit (Compression, Fitted, and Loose)in men’s tops? I find Loose fit to be pretty.much on size.

Speaking of uniforms, Jordan brand football jerseys are just bizarre.

The Sooner’s have been 17 & 2 (5 & 0 this year) since switching to those bizarre jerseys.  Maybe the Bulls could switch to Jordan.🤔😉

Not a single player on this team has been in the same system for 3 years. We might as well have a team full of freshman every two years.

    Holtz - spread? Pocket passing

    2 years Taggart - Pro

2 years Taggart - Gulf Coast Spread

2 years Gilbert - Up tempo rushing

1 Year Bell - Passing Spread / air raid ?

Kid comes in as a freshman, redshirts year one, played year 2, then year 3 he has to learn a new system, then 2 years later a redshirt senior he is learning now his 3rd system.

What good are experienced seniors who are learning something new? They aren’t really more experienced than a sophomore or junior at that point if they are starting with a blank slate and new play book.

So, somehow the Bulls are recruiting slow learners.

So how do you define commuter school?  Per the interwebs, we have roughly 18% of our (31k undergraduate) students living on campus.  UF 22% of 35k, FSU 20% of 33k, Central Florida 18% of 56k, Miami, 39% of 10k - I have always found the whole “commuter school” bit to be an uninformed stance.  We are on par with other state universities so that excuse can go back to the 90s.

If a student doesn’t live on campus, then they are a commuter...whether they get there by car, bus, motorcycle/scooter, train, bike/moped, skateboard, Segway, or walk.

We have a good BB team, maybe the best we have ever had and still unlikely to even compete for the conference title, not like we are in the SEC, what is the freakin point of following this University?

What does the BB team lack that make it unlikely to even compete for the conference title?   An OCA, IPF, or  Strength & Conditioning Facility?

I know there was a lot of lament even on this board for "suffering" through 8 and 9 win seasons, but I don't know how long it would've taken for USF to fire him for "underachievement". CJL could have probably kept winning 8-9 games a year (and likely a 7 or 10 win season sprinkled in), and kept his job for a while. I know Judy and some powers that be didn't like his stature as biggest man on campus and probably would've loved to can him at some point, but his incident was probably viewed as the best thing to happen in their eyes because i don't think the fanbase would've ever turned on CJL for constantly going to bowls and 8/9 win seasons, though it's fun to wonder if he continued that win rate into the AAC if that would've been viewed as acceptable at THAT point.

How long would the fanbase have been satisfied with a middling at best conference record.  25-26 over seven seasons,  and going bottom feeder bowls?

I doubt any of these college players are going to be making millions. If it does, it's only going to be the Tim Tebows of the world.

Secondly, that is the beauty of the free market. You or I dont get to decide who gets paid. If somebody else determines that someone is doing something valuable for them, they have the right to pay them. Welcome to America. If you want rules set up to determine who gets paid what's fair, vote for socialism. I hear it's getting a lot of excitement these days.
